Thank you Hpi for keeping this great platform alive… I have a friend who was new to Rc back when the Savage.25 hit the market years ago, the smile this truck put on his face was priceless. Every jump, tumble, roll,crash etc, was just pure fun for him. Tank after tank he would bash and no broken parts. He inspired me to buy and build/upgrade a Savage SS(.28) at the time, my truck still runs today and I’ve only had to repair the rear diff. Now, I understand that bashing from 15 plus years ago and today’s full sends are drastically different. And I’m not saying this truck is indestructible but for me two words come to mind, durability and fun. I hope the this new generation truck gives someone a similar experience 😎

Still love my Savage Flux.. Still stands his ground against the newer models like the Maxx, Arrmas whatever. People still look surprised how strong the Savage is. I'm still keeping mine and really hope they start making spare parts for the X..

Man, brings you back to the days when the original Savage Flux HP was the king of the basher community more than a decade ago. I really hope these trucks do well and HPI gets back on the board in the bash community because I haven't seen one run for years now. By the way, absolute banger of a track for this video, and can't wait for the XL Ver. 2.0! But seriously, you guys need to lower your prices, $770 for the Savage X Flux V2 with basically plastic everything and an absolutely terrible servo when you can get the Traxxas E-Revo 2.0 VXL for $650 or the Arrma Kraton 6S RTR V5 for $600 is an absolutely insane price point. If you can compete with Arrma's price point, you may pick up some sales but I hope you guys realize that at the current price point, this platform will fail... lets hope you can fix it.

@HPI RACING My question's to you are: Dose the company know about the popularity/fan base and the aftermarket tuning of the Baja platform? 2: Dose the Baja Plattform(or any Plattform) have any significance to the company? (Generally interested) And 3 the last question: Is there going to be a updated version of the Baja Plattform, as in, Looks, Suspension/steering geometry, Chassis, Brakes and Engine placement? If you ever read this, i'd like to say: Thank you for your time and i'm happy to see that you are back in the game. :)

I sure hope this rig brings you guys back to life in the off-road scene. I haven't bought and off-road Hpi since my nitro savage. And that was over a decade ago. Fingers crossed.

I own 2 mini flux savages, 3 4.6x and the beastly 5.9 xl big block I absolutely love everything about them HPI is top tier I really really want a normal sized flux I bet it just rips

yes this is awesome,it would be even better if you guys updated your rs4 sport 3 line and have a steering system that wouldn't be jam up when there is gravel in it. then have a Falken tire BMW body. then on the wr8 line have the hoonigan Subaru WRX rally body and Evo rally and Subaru Impreza bodies shells

I love the savage but i still think 2.0 could have gotten more. Like rollcage, sealed diff cases, metal spur gear, and some solution to half tank lean issue in nitro version.

Will parts be available Summer of 2022? Honestly, I wish you guys nothing but success but it has been up and down and back and forth for years and it ain't 2015 anymore. Arrma, Losi, Team Corally, Redcat, Team Associated, Traxxas and others are offering parts and a few are offering a lot for the money. With that said this is a very fun truck and my Wr8 Ken Block is the best Rally car ever made and ridiculously fun, and the Savage XS? Words can't describe how amazing that thing is. A lot of us have Faith and hope that Hpi will stick around and work out all of its past issues and again be a contender as one of the best companies... But let's consider that we would like a reasonably priced extremely tough RC.

HPI BAJA 5B 1:8 scale pls. There is no proper 1:8 2WD Buggy, yet. Maybe hpi can change That.

They need to come out with a 8s savage xl that would be bad ace with a different chassis had 5 different savages an the screws just fall out all the time even had the first twin big block savage

The savage Flux x Brushless is over $700 here in the US I can imagine the xl will be the same price as a x maxx. Pass!

The "new" nitro Savage is literally the previous Savage with a new body and hex bolts (which you should have done from the start). You should really sort out the parts issue in Europe as getting my hands on even the basic parts is a nightmare.

Bought the "new" GTXL-1 june 2021. 15 packs no jump and broke the rear diff and central driveshaft pin. Cup joints eaten. Any plan to refund me or send me the new XL V2 with central diff for free???
