Good tune on your truck. Savage is truthfully the only nitro I would own. Most nitro bashers are underpowered. That’s why I love my E Revo BrushlessEdition. I can run 4s for just playing around the yard and if I want to get serious I have 3S batteries to make it 6s which is insane. Good video though. Thanks.

Savage LRP 32 ride along with GoPro (wheelies and snapping dog bones) Here is a video of my XL with an LRP ZR.32 in it. I havent even tuned the engine yet, with less than a gallon through the motor it still does wheelies, when i start tuning for performance it will probably flip its lid on a full throttle tap. its not always the tune. slipper clutch pays a lot forward
someone who knows how to tune a savage :O lmao, i recommend the ribbed tuned pipe from hpi and sway bars, you'll love it x1000 more, i have those on my savage

My Savage is almost bone stock.. only some rpm arms, futaba servos, The engine is stock f4.6cc, a very powerfull engine when tuned right, I could pull wheelies all day long.
man your savage is running good! what fuel r u running? I ran vp 20% with 14%oil, but I think that's too much oil cuz I'm getting lots of smoke. thinking bout switching to 9% oil with 20%nitro.. any idea if that's a smart move?
my savage wont wheelie i bought it used i think the tune is good but it does have HUGE proline Trencher 3.8 tires would these effect how it wheelies are these too big?

Hey bro, that's tuned well (nice vid). when I got mine (2nds) my HSN was like 6 turns in from flat (but car ran rapid). I got scared of blowing engine so backed it off to 1.5 in, but now its rich!!. Mike Secondo is that why at 2:50 you can actually see the front drive shafts and when the car flips over and he revs it you see the front wheels spin up just like the back ? No, he just tuned it very well .
I worked in a hobby shop and I had every modding part at a discount but I didn't have to mechanical or suspension. I put a carbon fiber finer cog and it would do a complete flip standing still.
Tune car... if it don't hit high enough revs, it wont kick out the TINY gear engager. If not Tune issue your Tiny leaver may have chip on it. My Savage had a gear problem, so I tuned it, solved it. Then another had slight mark on gear piece what kicks out to change gear and it would not kick out smooth and change, so changed the piece. Its small little wheel like thing
I can't believe you is going out of business there RCS are iconic the savage line in it self imo is better than the Traxxas Maxx line or Revo just goes to show what having shitty distribution will do to a company
I just got a savage x for my brother and am having the worst time trying to tune the dam thing. I broke it in correctly and everything using 20% nitro. Any advice?
+Jeff R. I would like to get to that point again for a better tune but now it doesn't have any compression or something like that, put in the root start and crank it but no air moves through the exhaust so I can't prime the engine
I have this same truck. Crashed it and broke a few parts about 9 years ago. It's been back in the box this whole time. Curious if it would even be able to run again.
