Hello to all my subscribers and welcome all who are new to my channel.
In today's video, I will be breaking in my awesome looking HPI Trophy Truggy 4.6 BIG BLOCK engine - same engine as in the Savage X 4.6 which is an awesome vehicle in it's own right. This HPI Truggy is worth a hard look because the 4.6 is just an awesome motor......well proven in the Savage. Like to see this vs the Losi 8 Truggy.

Wow, very impressive. Only 3 pulls right out of the box. Very helpful video. I am about to break in a new engine in an old ST. How many tanks did you run before you put it on the pavement? I think the heat is the trick.

Clockwise (right) = lean Anti-clockwise (left) = rich

Having trouble breaking in my hpi trophy any tips all manufacturer settings starts then stalls tried with bit of trim works but then stalls again now won't start at all I have been pre heating with hair dryer to

Do they come already set rich from the factory. Witch do you set first. As you mentioned lower speed mixture . Thinking about getting my first nitro buggy. Hope you can help. Cheers 👍

Yes, factory settings are fine for first 3 - 4 tanks of break in. After this I start by leaning out HSN then LSN 🤝
