Hey guys🙂 Update on the missing parts situation if you haven't seen the community posts regarding this. HPI have sent out the parts to all local suppliers that have sold the factory error S version Vorza👌 Contact your local HPI supplier if you did not receive these parts on your Vorza S. Thank you HPI👍
No I don't think a factory or aftermarket centre brace has be made for this car. I have designed a alloy and carbon brace but have to wait for the fabricator to get his cnc fixed. As I have said to others, I will let yous know in a community post when they are available👍
Also I don’t think HPI was trying to be misleading, maybe just an early model missbuild, luckily for me they shaft people on upgrades for the nitro version anyway 🙃
Big improvement with the springs. I found that it looked less bouncy than the first video. Also way better with the Louise tyres. And Geez what a difference in handling and control. Great custom braces too mate. Great stuff Saul. 👊🏼👍🏼🚗
Thanks man🤘 Yeah springs are good but definitely need thicker oil now, and I love those Louise wheels🤩 And yeah been loving making custom parts😁 Thanks for watching man👍
Yeah mate that's originally why I started the channel, to review😅 It's a great car but yes it needed a bit of personalising and some tinkering with the shocks👌 Thanks mate👍
Thanks mate😅 Yeah I don't do too many fixing/build vids because it use to be kind of like my meditation time, chuck some music on and work. I know I need to film this sort of stuff for the channel though yes🤦 Thanks for watching mate👍
All good man😁 Yeah I can not wait to get it all set up with all the parts, mods and my general preferences. The shocks were terrible stock😱😅 Hope your doing OK man, thanks heaps for checking the vid out👊
@@rccrazy things are good bro it’s up some days and down some others can’t stop it only live with a smile and be my happiest I can be. It’s good to talk with you bud even if it’s here for a posting message. Yeah that car I really like those HPI buggies and truggies . Reminds me of when I first remembered seeing RC cars 🤘😎one day I will own a savage with a big block engine 🤩👍
Good to hear your doing ok, that's it! Wear a smile and try your best to get through the rougher times😊 And yes HPI does exactly the same thing to me, reminds me of the days I wished for any RC car, now I got too many🤣 But RCs are my life and always will be I think😁
@@rccrazy You're welcome. I enjoy your content. By the way, that bulldog really did look like he needed a break before going the rest of the way to his owners car.
Thank you so much!😊 I'm definitely trying to better my content for you guys, I'm no ideas man though that's for sure😅 Thanks heaps for watching and for the positive feedback👌🙏
Yeah man it's actually a great, super smooth truggy, thicker shock oil and it should feel really nice for jumps! But no I didn't really get everything that is shown to be box stock🤷♂️ Iv sent HPI 2 emails and a Facebook message now so I really hope they contact me soon🤔 Thanks for watching man👊
very nice bash with your Vorza ..like your upgraded carbon fiber brace ..was wondering ..can this truggy go up in pinion gear and what is stock tooth for pinion?
I gotta say it does look a lot better with the racing dish wheels. Unfortunate for the cost that it seems to need some adjustments out of the box. But it does look like a contender for best in class once it is sorted
Yes I really love these Louise T wheels, race compound tires aswell I think😃 I would be less worried about the cost if it actually came with all the listed parts😅 But yes once built to basher standards it should be up there with some of the greats in my opinion👌 Thanks for tuning in!
Awesome Saul but think it’s out of order you never got what you payed for and the fact your already into him with a tools already And I hope HPI will send you the parts out Nice of you to share Saul😎🇬🇧
Yeah from the manual and box art it really looks like the car was ment to come with these parts🤔 Still waiting on a reply but hopefully they get onto me soon with a solution or at least some answers🤞 Thanks for watching😁
They off the old vorza buggy these parts number. I’m rebuilding my right now and I’ll be looking the parts number for weeks now and I’m 100% sure of that. Great video mate. It just overpriced on poor end product in quality.
Yes all the parts are compatible with the buggy and my Trophy Flux truggy👌 But yes it is a bit overpriced for what it is and missing parts that look like they should be included😳 The all round quality isn't too bad in my opinion but they could bettered it easily. Thanks for watching mate👍
Thanks mate🙂 It is a bit overpriced especially not having sufficient bracing and stuff but the price will drop a lot in the next few months I'd say. Thanks for watching👍
Nice job with the springs. I have no clue why HPI would put those saggy ones on. Also nice with the center brace. Maybe the 4mm chassis can handle the flex. How's the durability so far.
Yes the stock springs didn't make sense🤔 The braces are more to stop the drivetrain from getting damaged if the chassis was to over flex but probably not need. It does seem strong so far👌 Thanks for watching👍
I really do question the manufacturers claim of 7075 aluminium and how on earth can we prove it or disprove it. That would be some Grade A content & consumer testing BUT i for one don't have to money to chop and test this claim. Great you've made it your own and got it somewhere close to what was sold to you 👍
Yeah its a bit hard to tell visually what grade aluminium it is and the testing would be as you said quite costly😬 But yes I love to personalising my RCs😅 Thanks for watching mate👍
Yeah I was a bit confused when I noticed that🤔 I have re-glued them and I'll try them again but yeah, we'll see how long they last before breaking free again.
They seem to be around 12-15mm long. Technically you can use whatever length as long as it reaches the chassis. I've got a few cars that I just installed huge 30mm long screws but only needed like 10mm.
Well the car is still stock and going fantastic, with the exception of the springs and the carbon braces, the springs are from my Team Corally Dementor and the braces I made so no part number for them sorry. If I upgrade my cars I do normally put the links in the description. The 7075 parts are not upgrades, they should've been on the car but there was a mistake while manufacturing the first few lots, if you buy one now you will receive the 7075 parts with the car.
@@rccrazy Great! Thanks for the reply. Would you recommend this Vorza S Flux, or is there another 1/8th scale (Arrma, Sledge, Habao) which you'd rather go for. Just really looking to get a really good 1/8th scale all-round and a bit of bashing off road RC.... Would really appreciate your advice....
It all depends how hard you want to go, the Vorza S is great and as I said quite easily all around to fix and work on, good for jumping and general bashing around, some stiffer springs are definitely needed if you plan on doing larger jumps. But from experience the Arrma 6s exb would be your best bet
I assume you mean to write dimensions and the top two braces as the bottom one is polycarbonate. But I didn't make them with any measurements because of the funny shapes I wanted, I just used a piece of cardboard thin enough to poke holes for the 8 mounting points and then drew 2 shapes that looked strong that fit in place. Sorry mate I'm not great with numbers so I just guesstimate most of the time.
@@rccrazy no it aint like that, the wheels grabbed on the ground very good to pull a wheelie like that i was like damn and it launches pretty good, usualy i see those kind of wheelie on outcast on half throttle n not so much on kratons thats what a meant. now, outcast comes with backflips so thats that😂
Oh ok, yeah sorry I didn't quite understand. I think you mean, because of the longer chassis right? Is so then yes you are kind of right although my Kraton is very powerful and can pull standing backflips not a problem😬😅 This HPI though as I mentioned is very lightweight so lifts pretty easy with any wheels, maybe not slicks🤦 But also throttling at just the right time or spot you can pull a wheelie with virtually any car👍
@@rccrazy right, also i wanna add the dboots tire are more plushy and bigger making it easier to pull wheelies, the vorza is more like a track truggy kinda like the losi 8eight, hobao hyper car
