Jimmie Johnson did it when he won races in 2004 as well. The non Coke drivers did until NASCAR told them to stop. At some point after that Jimmie put a big Lowe's sign in front of the bottles in victory lane.

Those cars, My guy Jeff doing Gordon things, Jimmie on the cusp of greatness, Jr being one of the most viable threats every week, Tony and that terrible attitude in the orange Pontiac/Chevy. Pepsi vs Coke. Brian hadn't screwed things up yet, GREAT GEN 4 CARS!

it was so wild how Pepsi went to the trouble of filming a fake Gordon celebration to promote Pepsi Edge, got to actually use it since Gordon did win the race, and then a real celebrating took place after the commercial break. This post-race was kinda unhinged 😂

I had the luck of sitting on the backstretch grandstands right at the end towards t3. A beach ball fell down by the fence and a cop popped it with his knife is a moment I remember. #24ever Edit: I just seen your username, subbed.
