He was mobbed by the fans and the theatre owner had to call the police to get him out. Kaho naa Pyaar Hai was the biggest hit of the year. Hrithik won both Best Actor and Best Debut awards for this film. That's how bollywood got its LAST SUPERSTAR.

This was like 20 years ago.......having an actor who was so damn handsome and amazingly ripped and who danced like that was like a shocker honestly.....he was like a complete package......this song is iconic for every indian because it changed our expectations from the bolywood industry......

U can't compare his dance of 2019 with 2000, people evolve with time, n he just got better n better. As a kid I had bought similar clothes like him from the song "na tum jano na hum"(that red jacket n Black pant with same specs) 😂 Girls used to lay down in front of his car. Ughhh. All my knowledge and existence of Bollywood started from this movie. I was 9-10 at that time and my dad bought home some cassettes and Kaho na pyar hai was one of those. Heard the songs. Got obsessed with the movie. Hrithik became my absolute favorite since then. Kaho na pyar hai is a legit good movie. The song "na Tum jaano na hum" has always been on top of my playlist, to this day.
