Nottingham Victoria was a station on the ill fated Great Central line that was closed in the 1960's. Birmingham Curzon Street is being built in Birmingham City Centre as the terminus of the new Hi speed Line from Birmingham to London HS2 big difference.

70 years? .. within a decade of opening (in about 50 years time given the current rate of progress), it'll be nothing more than a glorified cycle track.

No Birmingham is the Second Largest City in the UK and is far from 3rd world mate,it is very diverse, cosmolpolitan and totaly modern and what you are looking at here is a building site for a new station, it appears you have never visited Birmingham and just a biased troll
