God damn, that is SO fucking Bad Ass! The execs at GM have their heads up their asses for not making these available in the states. I mean, how hard can it be to meet CAFE standards with it in their lineup? I say to hell with the CAFE requirements, bring it the hell on over anyway!
I mean, its found on the Camaro ZL1 and CTS-V, why can't they import them to the states even though its owned by the same company that gave the same engine.
Pure GM Small-Block American Muscle in an Australian body. I am amazed this isn't legalized. I would so buy this. Looks like I might import this since I have a good reason for US officials to let this through.
HoldenisAustralian But Holden is owned by GM... an American company. And the LSA was in american GM cars first. Still an AWESOME ute. Wish they sold them here in the states.
HSV is owned by a British family. Holden is older than GM anyway. Holden is GM's oldest brand. Holden is Australian, just owned by an American company. Fiat own Chrysler but it doesn't make Chrysler Italian. Yes LSA is American but the engine can't determine the nationality of the car. HSV have done work to the LS3 to make it better than the SS sedan and Camaro SS as well. HSV had to engineer the LSA to fit into the Gen-F.
Very limited until the 2nd series was released, then you released a GTSR version and a W1 that nobody was told about. So this being limited edition was all BS.
1:55 "australias most powerful production engine" HOLD IT!! Silao, Mexico is not in australia where the LSA is actually made, and the latest comparisons of the FPV's miami v8 which IS made in australia, beating it significantly in power, hsv shoud really think about claiming the most powerful anything.
What a load of garbage...these things handle worse than a cat on wet tiles. What a useless car/ute. If anyone actually drove one from any Australian governing body they wouldnt be allowed on the road.
