+ChrissV the shop i went to said N/A is old school. he told me to go turbo its a lot cheaper... its like whats the fun of 4 cylinder then. mine as well go v8 and turbo if i want something ridiculously fast.

300whp is essentially bolt on power these days for these engines. Its easily obtainable with mild cams on a K20/K24

Not a Honda fan, but I can respect the build and the results. Light weight, short gearing and a lotta revs = something not to be underestimated. Those were some solid cars he was running with.

I’m really impressed that this Civic is still keeping up with 500hp+ cars, especially that 600hp Mustang. It’s crazy for me that seeing an all motor Civic only making 312hp still keeping up with the big boys. Whoever is the owner of that Civic, I give you my respect ✊🏼

This video basically goes to show that you can't underestimate a civic. 312 HP yet he's keeping up with a Viper, CTSVs GTRs, beating Vettes and mustangs. Imagine if he bumps up the power just a little more. Props man.

all he needs is a turbo and run low boost 10-15psi and he should make close to 400 HP at the crank and might be able to take on gtrs and anything else that comes his way

Chris Moltisanti i totally agree, i was riding with my buddy in his del sol (stock b18 swap, cai and exhaust) making about 170 to the wheels yet the thing was keeping up with his bros 96 lt1 camaro. my buddys car is running a chipped p78 ecu from a gsr teggy as well (pardon me im not too great with numbers), but for it only making about 225 to the crank that lil car hops and quick

This is the kind of vehicle I can respect. A lot of these shit box honda guys run around slamming their car on the ground, cambering it so it looks like its rolling around with broken ankles and ask for "respect".. "respect all builds bro".. No. I won't respect garbage. This on the other hand, is a purpose built 4 banger that will get down and nasty with anything you throw at it. Coming from a mustang guy, TONS of respect for this car. Awesome build!

+MadFluffyster Xaines I'm sure you're a knowledgeable person. But in my experience having broken several Honda B,D,H,K series transmissions myself and having built roughly 300 of them for myself and others. I think I know when and what will break them. Wheel hop being at the top of the list.

Ross Banner I mean im not douting you, but have I just been lucky then? Built B series I've owned for nearly 3 years and I wheel hop occasionally, and the tranny seems to be working just as it should. Luck?

+MadFluffyster Xaines Sounds like luck to me, but transmissions usually work fine right up until they break. Kinda like when you break an axle or driveshaft. In my daily driver B series car I've broken several oem axles, 2 stock differentials, and cracked the shift selector arm. I solved those issues with a set of Gator stage 2 axles, an Mfactory LSD, and a SpeedFactory shift selector. Dumping the clutch broke the axles. Wheel hop broke the spider gears in the differentials. Me banging the hell out of gears broke the shift selector arm.

The people hating on this car are just jealous that this car makes 68% as much power as their 2016 Camaro even though their Camaro's engine displaces 258% as much as this one. This only weighs about 50% of what a 2016 Camaro does. If we do some math, a 2016 Camaro would need around 991 hp to match it assuming it has the same gearing and hp/tq ratio as the Civic. There are more factors to it than that but it's still way faster.
