Ohhh! Forget about it... If I need serious repair in my 10, I'll take it to a shop, or take advantage of HTC's one time unit replacement... This is not at all like my old Moto G2, which I had apart, display replaced, and back together in working order in a few hours.. No way I'm going into this beast!

how you replace new adhesive tape on back side of screen if you only have to replace the back metal shell ?

Yes. To replace the back housing you must remove the display.

Tube Matrix - A friend of mine tried to facilitate repair on his S7, which is just as bad, if not worse than this... I said, "Good luck to you! " - He didn't have any, and he still won't tell me what he needed to fix that he had to take the damn thing apart in the first place... I think he just wanted to see if he could disassemble it and reassemble it... Idiot!
