Thank's work perfect, Resolved: the phone does not detect micro sim. I opened the phone, with the tools you posted. and micro sim tray. I was a micro part did not make contact, place adhesive small to pressure, then I closed from the top to the end. and it worked perfect. thank you very much for your step! excellent help!
So for everyone trying to open his HTC for the first time... i was trying to open it but i could only get the bottom clicked of the case, i tried harder and found out it was glued together unlike in this video. I got it open :D got a few cracks in the bottom of the case though. Unlike this video my battery is also covered in some kind of copper aluminium foil. So everyone opening his HTC One X for the first time be careful it may be glued don't force it like i did :D u will get cracks!
heres what will really happen. you will break the pick, spudger/pry tool trying to get cover off. the glass will separate from the lcd, and you will fight for an hr trying to get rest off. you will become extremely frustrated and cuss this video for having it pre-removed before and easy to get off.

I have probloem with my htc one x,speaker volume has been too low recently. i don't have problem with speaker in call and in front speaker but when i play the music or videos rear speaker is awful :| I'm sure it's not about a software problem or sth like that because i even reseted my phone to the factory settings and unfortunately it did change nothing! could you help me pls?

chessie G i hope im not late with the answer , but i did find out alone at the end , the microphone and the volume +- button are connected , they are the same part , so you need to change the all part , (cheap in ebay ) ill upload photos to you if u cant find that part on ur phone
My One X's charger port stopped working properly, it only charges at a certain angle which is very difficult to figure, are there any solution for this issue? Or if you can tell me, can I charge using the first and the last dock pin? I tried that but it wont work. How are the wires from dock pins connected to the power supply? Maybe I am doing it wrong. ***** Well, I figured the same and gave it to the local repair shop, he charged me for replacing and instead made temporary solder on the existing port connection and now it has gone bad again.
I know this is a old comment but I had the same problem but I fixed it by doing a hard reset :) hope it helps you and anyone else that has the same problem.
i ended up braking my wifi/bluetooth. And also the plug that receives the volume cable. IF i found the right spot, i broke the wifi pins on the phones mobo clean off =[
The battery power is totally running out after a long time deposited. Charge the phone for hours and try to power on. Most of the image files are saved in the hard disk memory. Connect the phone with computer via USB wire and you can search the saved files.

You need to check if you have the battery cable and the screen flex cables connected. Make sure the battery has energy. If all the cables are connected and still the screen doesn't respond, can you assume the screen replacement or other possible reasons.

It seems the lcd didn't work and the vibrating motor functions well, so the whole phone may just need to replace the lcd screen assembly. You must have gotten a defective screen. this phone is annoying... i've had problems with other phones and i would fix it disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it again, but with this phone is a pain in the ass JUST to disconnect the battery...
Yeah no screws to open nicely like just about any other modern phone... lets just use some guitar pluck to pry it open and damage the nice finish on your $500 phone... way to go HTC!! FAIL!!
