You're supposed to place the mug in the center where the little mug and arrow is. Then it won't close all crooked. If you have 2 mugs in at a time it will still be level. Only one mug, always in the center.
I mentioned that in the video but I was saying if you have something that has a lip on it that can't go in the center, you won't be able to do just one.
Is there a specific time and temperature to enter on these machines if you are sublimating mostly black tumblers? I know those are different from other colors.
I just made 2 tumblers for the very first time, using the htvront auto press, both of them I have a seam mark, I overlapped about 1cm. what can I do the ovoid that?
Mine HTVRont press keep ghosting where the seams are...I have wasted so many tumblers trying to use this machine, but yours seemed to turn out seamless? How do you get that? That doesn't happen much with my PYD LIfe tumbler press. I really wanted to love this machine...
I just bought one of these machines and I was wondering how you put your photos/artwork on the paper for it to be able to print onto the mug? please I very much need to know if anyone knows please help
Thanks I appreciate your honest review on this product. It helps deciding what kind of machine we want especially if you're on a budget and can only invest in one machine. As always you did a fantastic job explaining the pros and cons.
I wish I would’ve seen this before I bought this because I would have purchased the machine you mentioned that you is more versatile. They have a terrible return policy too.
This is me! I am so mad at myself because I bought the machine and didn’t open it for weeks and by the time I opened it and started pressing tumblers I realized about a dozen tumblers too late that the auto press just isn’t the best for tumblers. The seems never came out right. I have a PYD Life press as well and it never fails me! I should’ve just stuck to what I know. I will say the HTVRont works great on my mugs!
Didn't like this machine and went back to my sublimation oven. Always got ghosting and it wasn't my taping method since the oven approach worked well. Customer service with this company is subpar. Interested in trying the GO2CRAFT vertical mug press to see if that is a good option.
@@AngieHolden Actually I just purchased it and made 2 tumblers last night and thought it was a much better product. Perhaps you can do a video on htat one since there has been so much negativity on the HTV Ront version
This is a starter press for me because I do enjoy the glitter, vinyl, painting, etc. What I want to know is if you've tried a 30oz skinny straight tumbler?
I love your video and your attention to detail. Also, I love your craft space. Where did you purchase your storage shelves/unit? It's so awesome and looks very organized.
I was just wondering what I did wrong with my tumbler. I used the same print on a shirt and the tumbler. The shirt came out so nice and vibrant, however, the tumbler print was not as vibrant. What could be the problem? Love watching your videos.
Sometimes you do need different print settings for different types of blanks. Then you may check your press time and temperature as it depends on the blank that you use.
Hi Angie i have one of those tape dispensers & for the life of me cannot load it. It felt like a waste of money. Can you do a video on how to load it all up please
When the press closed on the first Tumbler it appeared that the press was making the paper even tighter and causing it to wrinkle or lift away from the mug on the top. Was that just an optical illusion or was the press actually tightening the sublimation paper more and causing it to wrinkle?
Thanks for this video, it came at the perfect time. I have been looking at this press, and now see the restrictions and challenges. I have a Vevor Mug Press, and I love it. I have used it for tapered tumblers, from using your instructions on a previous video. I think I'll stick to this for now.
I have the HTVRont auto press and it does make the same noise the tumbler does after fully pressing every time I use it. I believe that is just how it creates the added pressure.
@@AngieHolden Thanks Angie, I did my first Glass Jar with the recommended Heat & time setting, but some paper got stuck on the glass in some places. I have just purchased the htvront tumbler press a couple days ago. thankyou for the video
New to sublimation and interested in buying either a tumbler press or sublimation oven. I heard you recommended PYD life. Would you recommend that brand for their sublimation oven also? Also do you prefer the press over the oven (to do other projects also)? Thank you! 😊
i just went for a "Oster" brand oven and a oven thermometer to put inside and double check the temperature before i put the mugs in. same results as a PYD oven and costs 1/3 the price.
This is the best video for this product. You answered all the questions I had, like can I put two mugs in or how big of an item can I put in the press.
there is a new tech that is better than DTF. Search for FTS on youtube, videos in spanish. Advantage is that the white dye is not in the ink, but in the DTF powder. It uses paper instead of plastic to print. No more printhead clogs!
@@edisondairo3618 thanks a lot, I got a white toner printer today and didn't test yet, if the pressure of the HTVRONT mug press is enough for white toner transfers.
