I just did the conversion and the 1-bedroom is $362K USD. Whoa. Way too much. I feel the shared spaces like the lobby, game room, gardens, and pool area are more impressive than the 1-bedroom itself. The kitchen is lacking. Love the massive windows and the modern bathroom. Walls are too bare -- need some classical Thai art to go with the colonial vibe. Beach and clean sand looks really appealing. Jett, you did a great job with the presentation -- so many details to memorize!
i'm staying @ the Intercontinental Chiang Mai in early February. I stayed three nights in late Oct. @ the Wyndham Resort Hua Hin. I've also stayed at a small inn named the Tong Mee House near the night market. When my lease expires in Jomtien, I might move to relaxed, walkable Hua Hin
60-70% of the price you pay in these is for the Intercontinental name. A tiny 40 sqm that can barely allows you to see the ocean if you lean out of the window, typically sells for closer to $100k. $1.1 million for a 3 bedroom is asinine. That gets you a real beach villa right at the ocean.
Huahin has zoning laws now? Oh no it's gonna make real estate so expensive there. Take a lesson from California Bay area where everything is in the millions because of height restrictions. 🥶
