How far up does it extend from the desktop (in inches)? Also, your comment is a year old, have they made a better one by now or does this one stand the test of time, I need to know what's best for the price. i'd like to be able to get good extension height from desktop to viewability. Quite honestly , I'm about to buy one of those desks that rises up so that I can stand and work (is standing while working easy or is it a bitch?) I really need to know before jumping into it, and thanks a ton @fjzar or whomever chimes in and kindly answers this comment.

What is the difference between clapping the monitor arm on the side of the desk like you did rather then on the middle of the desk ? 🤔 Curious to know
