Thanks for the video. There seems to be a few versions of the remote for this box, as this is a revised version compared to the 320GB model, and is much better. The buttons click when you press them , and generally, it seems to be more in line with the Humax retail standards, i.e. a blue youview button, and "i" button (rather than the word "info" and the YouView logo. Oddly on your remote, the record button is red, as you might expect (even though the DN360T doesnt record) I have just recieved a DN360T and my remote is almost exactly the same as yours, but the record button is grey ! (it still works as expected, and is interchangeable with the 320GB box)
If I use this without connecting to the internet, what would I be able to access with it? Can I watch just normal freeview but just not be able to access iplayer etc? Thank you
I bought a Huawei DN371t decoder and there was no hard drive. Now i tried to fix a hard drive but it seems there's something i've got to put on the hard drive first. Please help me!
Wondering if you can help me with how to feed Freeview from a satellite dish into the TalkTalk box. The feed to the TalkTalk box currently is from a rooftop aerial, but the signal isn't very good. I have a satellite dish with a strong signal, but doesn't work as a direct feed into TalkTalk. Is it just a question of getting a Freeview decoder and feeding the satellite dish signal into it and the output into the TalkTalk box? It may sound a daft question but I'm nervous about buying kit and finding out it can't be done. Any recommendations for the decoder etc if indeed that is the way to go? Thanks.
I would imagine plug recording device into the scart socket would be worth a try, although I would expect possibly due to copyright, it may cause issues, I Will give that idea a try. If that doesn't work, may try routing through television then out to recorder.
No, an external hard drive doesn't work with talktalk youview. It sounds like you have the basic box. U have 2 options 2 record, either of which will require you to obtain a youview recorder box, rather than just a youview player box, which you currently have: If you are a talktalk customer then you would need to upgrade to talktalk plus price plan with them. If you are NOT a talktalk customer, then you will need to buy a youview recorder from Ebay or Amazon for instance. Like the DN372 recorder model on there. These can normally found for quite cheap, especially if you buy a 2nd-hand 1 there.
