Thanks for the video, i used the same procedure on my P30 and it worked great. just to clarify to people, always use tweezers for handling the lens, otherwise you get fingerprints on the inside of the lens if you use your hands.
Looks a bit dangerous to squeeze glue like that, must be really easy to get glue on the lenses? I prefer pre-glued glass. Also, any type of glue may not be good. The vapor from some types of glue can get stuck behind the glass and impair photo quality, isn't that right?
Do you have to use a glue? I've seen a replacement glass that comes with an adhesive sticker. Is that not strong enough? If so, which glue is best? Thank you for your video.
I've just removed the black stuff and the replacement lens I have is self adhesive, so was yours???... And was the glue/gum necessary??... Will it be OK if I fit it without glue an rely on the adhesive on lens, don't worry if you agree and I do it and it falls out, av no glue, and no clue, good video BTW
