Thanks! The glue is extremely thin, so the gap must be 100% perfectly clean and the back must be perfectly aligned for it to seal. From what I feel and see, this phone is not waterproof anymore.
I know this video is old but hopefully get a reply. What's the need for the little green square under the flash? I replaced mine recently and thought it was a sticker so removed it.

Hello. I had an accident last week and I broke the glass from rear camera. Unfortunately it cracked at the center main camera but I didn't saw any damage inside. We order 2 replacement glasses for a store here. The 1st attempt was good with little blurry but it was dirty inside from previous glass. After we try se 2nd attempt we did it very gently. Also i tried with microfiber to clean the lens. 2nd attempt was bad when I open the wide and super focus I can't see it sucks. I'm thinking to sell the phone but I don't want to. Do you think that a damaged the camera? My brother has the same phone I took a look today to see differences and I see inside that the camera is more dark than mine. Maybe the glass is superfake or I did something while cleaning I can't understand. My last chance is to order a new back cover and new camera otherwise there is no change. Thanks for your time I will appreciate if you answer.
Hello. Sorry, but without actually seeing the phone myself it's impossible to guess correctly what happened. But if you have no image at all from those cameras, they might be damaged.

How much does it cost to buy the(original) back glass? And price for the front glass, any idea? Both are cracked since today.... 😭 Plz advise... Also : any idea where to order online?
Original back glass is probably around $25, but the front glass is a problem. Only a specialised shop can replace it. I have no idea how much they ask for this replacement. If you want to do it yourself you need to change also the screen and it's about $200 for a refurbished one.
Did the phone work properly after changing the back panel?? I am trying to change mine with the service centre but the guys are warning like if its not a huawei original back panel then the phone might not work properly, is it so ?
@@UltimateDIY I have bought one from ali express China and they told its original, when I took it to the service centre they are reluctant to change it and are advising me my phone might not work properly, are there any connections from the back panel?? Not sure why they are saying so.
