I agree with most of the review except for the zoom part, it's not just for the moon, I live in an area where lots of birds species live, this a situation where you'd die to have a good zoom camera, I also visited Africa last year and I was so desperate to take good pictures of wild animals without jeopardizing my life, so zoom camera isn't just for moon pictures, some people may find it useful, I agree not all people, but for those who need this feature I'm ready to give up on the better processing of the S10 in favor of the great zoom and low light capabilities. The s10 is good but the price ! I can't afford and the battery isn't good as p30 , I better go for p30 . In my country p 30 price is 669$ and galaxy s10 is 899$ .
You can get an S10 for US$675 in the US. I am seriously considering getting one (just for the camera, because my OnePlus 5T is already an amazing phone).

Thanks for this review. Everone focuses on the "Plus" models, and I really wanted this comparison. The only criticism I have is for the background having diferent colors. The grey on one side and white on the other doesn't help comparing small diferences.
My main consideration was the price point. At retail your looking at a price diff or more than 5k and if you were able to pre-order the p30 you get a free 13k watch which you could opt to sell as well. So there would be a price diff of around 15k or more

Lol.. I both fan of samsung and huawei.. But when you see the features and capability of the camera you clearly p30 nailed it.. But then your a close minded just review all the advantage of it.. Yugatech is a samsung fan so how can i see the true comparison of the 2 units? Just read some review. And try to study specs of that two brand.. Lol so it make sense to you now?
S10 is way much better in terms of screen n camera. But HUAWEI is better in battery life and system speed. Price wise, HUAWEI is more cost effective. The reason why I don't want switch from S8 to p30 is becos I really like samsung's high definition screen.
True, but in terms of photos, i do think Huawei has a slight advantage due to their dedicated night mode but if we're talking about video recording then it's Samsung hands down. Huawei can't record 4k at 60fps and recording at night is a blurry mess. But the downside of Samsung is, it shipped out most of it's phone with Exynos 9820 which on paper look better than Kirin 980 but in reality an utter disappointment. CPU throttling, drains battery fast and not optimized for many games like PUBG and Ark Survival
What about audio quality in video recordings? I found S10 takes 256kbps, but no info nowhere about P30. I often take shots in concerts and it's a common drag the reviews never talk about audio
i ordered the p30 with free huawei watch gt. dont want to spend lot of money on gadgets, we all know that after a year, the price will decrease in value.
I own both phones and so I have used both a lot in my opinion the galaxy s10 is the winner the oneUI is so smooth the camera is amazing and the screen is just in a different league to the p30
S10 all the way, i dont think 10x and 50x zoom will be that very useful, p30 shoots great in low light but yet again you shouldnt be shooting photos in the dark anyway. Even pro photographers know that and will use a flash to light up their subjects. Wide angle, day time photo,selfies, and video goes to the s10, p30 isnt far behind though. Smartphone cameras today are pretty neck and neck. Awesome video!
Having tried both, I sticked to my S10. P30 wins in overall camera performance though. I'm not wholly into camera so I chose the S10. It depends really on your preference. If you prioritize ingress protection (IP), micro sd expandable storage, and awesome display, as well as more useful features, go for the S10.
Across all photos, the S10 gives better contrast and colors while the P30 boosts details. Both are great shooters nonetheless 💗 (P30 night mode still blows my mind 😂)
THIS REVIEW WAS VERY INACCURATE , I OWN BOTH PHONES AND THE P30 TAKES BETTER SHOTS THAN THE SAMSUNG OVERALL,THE P30 PRO TAKES EVEN BETTER SHOTS,BUT THE P30 SURPASSES SAMSUNG EASILY.
S10 for me too. A 6s exposure isn't something you'll want to use frequently. Need a tripod or mount for that sort of thing. Same applies to the zoom. It's a nice feature but also not something most would use frequently. You'll get more from the better dynamic range of the s10 in day to day use. Many in the tech world have just gone overboard with these sorts of niche features
The nightmode and zoom doesnt require a tripod and is hand friendly... Also even the regular automatic camera tends to have great night mode (compared to xs) i think the nightmode is only really used in little to no light situations since the automatic imo does great in night shots

@@ekryztof Both phones are great you will not regret if you choose either of the two. But for me I like the samsung galaxy s10 because of the one UI, stereo speaker and the dynamic amoled display. In terms of camera both are great , for low light and zoom capability I'll go for P30 but for selfie, video, video stabilization, daylight, ultrawide and dynamic range I'll go for s10. Choosing a phone is a personal preference so its up to you if what phone your going pick.
iba nagtry ng gcam yung cam software sa pixel maganda naman yung night shot nya d pa lang gaano supported lahat ng phones. I think yung na mean sa hardware is yung ryb na light na kukunin para sa photo para maka night shot.
@@demon6937 hardware kc kung anu quality ng cam mo. Yun na yun kc dmo. Nmn mapapalitan lens ng camera pag nag update ka features lang madadag. Pero yung pixels at apertures dimo mababago yan..
If only the p30 shared the same camera sensors with the p30 pro...such a stupid move from Huawei. A 750 euros phone is far from cheap. At least keep the same 40mp high quality sensor on the main camera. Cheap on the wide and telephoto if nessesary. The s10e costs less than the p30 and shares the same camera sensors with the s10 and s10 pro. It just comes with 2 instead of 3. Who gives a fuck about the 2x optical telephoto anyways? 2x digital is fine.
the price point of the s10 makes it loose compared to the p30. had they been priced at same money, s10 would leave the p30 in the dust. consumers nowadays (considering inflation) would prefer a phone who rings the practical bells of a smartphone priced thats friendly on the pocket than a flagship which ring bells a many but just way over the practical usability of a smartphone on a daily basis due to its price point. videos and photos can be post processed and thats what we find in most social media thus, the p30 wins this over the s10
The different background colour (the dark grey & white) made it harder to focus on the differences of the pictures.. it’s optic 101, light colour picture would look stand out fr the dark background & dark colour picture would look stand out with light background.
More intense colour seems to be on S10 (sky is more blue, tree more green, etc,). I just wondering if in P30 settings is possible to adjust it. Someone did some experiments ?
the p30 night mode and automatic mode make the camera a point and shoot anywhere any time, its an incredible phone!! my mom just got a p30 2 days ago and i have a note 8, the camera is so much better its shocking!! and its even cheaper than my note 8 today!! i will probably never buy a samsung phone again
Go for p30 perfect phone than sa s10 after months of used may amoled burn na prone tlga sa amoled burn ayusin nmn ng samsung yang amoled burn issues.. Both phones meron ako nagamit ko na parehas pero tangina yang s10 bagal magcharger, malag sa ml, mabilis malowbatt at maya heating issues pa lalo na ung amoled burn kaya binenta ko na di na ko magsasamsung ayusin muna nila amoled burn issues nila pati battery nila.. Sa p30 pota wala ako kaproblema problema smooth tagal malowbatt bilis magcharge.. Ewan jan sa samsung basura sayang pera jan pangit pa nung punch hole natatakpan map sa ml
100€ difference is fair. You get a better phone with the S10. 2 GB more RAM, higher resolution display, waterproof, can use any microSD. Yes the P30 has 3x optical instead of 2x and captures more light in night but the S10 is not bad at both either. difference in optical zoom is not much 11:36 I would invest the 100€ more into the phone that will last longer. Or even spent more (wait longer for price fall) and buy the P30 Pro. That is really better than S10.
P30 or mate 20 pro? I really don't know which one to choose. I like the details on p30 camera, too bad for stabilization but it also works good I checked on some videos. The battery is good on boot, the processor too. The P30 has the audio Jack. The wireless is not important for me. Maybe sin on impermeability, but it's also a little particular. There are very few videos on the P30 not pro version. The price here in Italy between the two phones is almost the same.. Any advice on choice?
