Reviewing the newly launched Huawei Watch GT4. Priced at only £229 for a stainless steel smartwatch is quite impressive.
The Huawei Watch GT4 is 46mm in diameter, watch case is made from Stainless Steel, finished in a shiny space grey colour. There are time markings going all the way round, with a tiny bezel in between and smooth plastic finish on the back which almost looks and feels like ceramic. So no doubt super premium build quality.
Runing Hamony OS v4, the OS is light, feature packed and very user-friendly in operation.
Huawei Watch GT4 comes with a beautiful 1.43” AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 466 x 466 and 326ppi but no gorilla class protection included, it looks like we have 2.5/3D Curved Glass.
In this video I have tried and tested Huawei Watch GT4 with an iPhone 14 Pro and a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Sharing all my thoughts and experiences in detail.

Waw, very nice review of this watch. I'm really impressed. This is how review should look like. Well done for you work, keep it up....I'm using currently Huawei watch Fit 2 and soon I will definitely buy these GT4... My worry is, will they work with Pixel 8 Pro?... I had a problem to enable notifications when I paired my Watch fit with Pixel 6 Pro 🤷

Yeah they will work, it just won't be as well integrated as Pixel Watch. Not only that the health tracking on this is better than every Wear OS watches including Samsung Galaxy watches. It's insane how good this watch is.

thanks for these videos Chigz , please have you done a video review on the Huawei watch 3 GT PRO LIKE the look off the watch 3 Gt pro and its more affordable price. are you aware if this watch 3 Gt pro can also accept phone calls and it works ok takes and can also dial out , using the watch, via bluetooth. I believe the E- SIM function is not supported by the uk england mobile networks now or possibly vodaphone does or did support e-SIM DATA AND CALLS do you know anything mate. thanks

Great video, man. One question: do you receive notifications in both places at the same time? For example, if I am wearing the watch, I don't want notifications on my phone, just on my watch. Or do they pop up in both places at the same time? Your reply will be much appreciated. Thanks again for the video.

Yes, you’ll receive both notification on your phone and on watch. It’s actually sort of reflection of any notifications received on your phone.

Great video, and good watch, I recently bought it. Even if you show it is possible, it seems there is no way (from iPhone) of getting WhatsApp, or any message notification on the watch. Ok for calls, great for sensors, training stats. If someone had the same issue and solved it, feel free to share.

You should compare it with the Huawei Watch GT3Pro. They're about the same price. You will discover they have about the same features, but the GT3pro is made from titanium and has sapphire crystal glass. Much better materials. Also a even better battery than GT4. Sometimes it's better to stick to older models.

@@Kpap82 the GT 4 HR performance is a bit worse than the GT 3 Pro's... Not much but it is less accurate and reliable, not something to worry about but as said before the GT 3 Pro is just made from better materials for almost the same price. Sleep tracking is bad on both of them...

Io ho acquistato il GT4 nero ed era perfetto ,soprattutto con il sensore battiti. Ma aveva un problema , se lo tenevo fuori al terrazzo esposto al sole , dopo 6 7 minuti ,mi dava il messaggio di surriscaldmento. Peccato perché mi piaceva tanto. Ora ho preso il GT3 pro sperando non accada di nuovo il problema

What if I configure the gt4 with an Android device(i own a samsung tablet) so i can transfer the music i need, set the quick replies and then use them with the iPhone? Im 100% sure that i can play the music but what about quick replies? Can i use them if i have set them previously using the android device??? Iv just got my GT4 (green) for Christmas and I'm having the same issue with it as I Did with the GT3 and GT3 SE and it's the heart-rate it just will not rise above 151bpm no matter how hard I work it,it reaches 151 then just stays there then drops to normal bpm when I stop...I never had this problem with the GT2 but it's happening on all there other watches,it's too much of a coincidence for it to be a fault in the watch so is it something in the watches default settings I need to change ... Please help me someone?? 😅

I had the GT2 pro with so many free watch faces but i recently got the GT4 watch and now this option is gone, when i go to the app on my phone and check the watch faces nothing comes up, I can only see the paid faces and there isnt an option for free, why is this? how can it be fixed?

So after more inspection with the problem I have with the GT4 heart-rate sensor during a workout the accuracy is actually perfect no problem at all,the problem is the HR sensor during normal day to day use when there is no exercise mode on it goes to 151 bpm which is fine but then just stays there and won't go above it no matter what .Would anyone have a reason why this would be?
