Regarding 'Responding to messages', the way I see it, "Better to have it and not use it, than want to do it and not be able to...". No, responding to every message might not be what you want to do, but, having to dig out your phone for those coupla times, well, just makes it easier to be able to just send a quick response without the faff of reaching into your pocket on diving into your bag etc etc... But I guess, handling phonecalls via the phone WOULD be the VERY basics for me... 😎🇬🇧
05:38 - Ben, (adjusting the strap to fit better) if you look at the promotional video, there are 2 ways of adjusting the strap... 1- Adding/removing links. And 2 - using the adjuster within the butterfly clasp for finer adjustments... 😏 😎🇬🇧
The reason your watch doesn't sit well is because the Watchband is too long at the front and too short in the back. Switch one Watchband link to the front so the Closure is in the middle.
2:30 i can respond to my notifications from some apps using smartwatch keyboard. I have Huawei watch 3 pro, this is also possible on Huawei watch 4/4 pro. Becouse ultimate and GT series don't have as much ram as watch series they lack some functions.
Ben! I actually think is ideal for casual wear/dress. Maybe once a while with a suits, but ideally, that gold smart watch is perfect for your shorts with T-shirt or polo shirt. Welcome to the new fashion.
The only reason i have a good smartwatch is because i can change the watch face. I have never ever used any app on it. I just like to have the face i like, and the exact/right time it shows. Very nice watch btw, Huawei did good.

This watch was made for me 😂😂😂I've already placed my order, this is the 1st true smartwatch that is not a toy 😂😂😂😂Samsung please learn from the best, not thom browne edition, this is what we want
not a good investment , in a year or two when a new model comes out it will not be worth much at all , better off with an omega seamaster that will hold its value
Thanks Ben, love the unintended humor with your clothing choice and not being a pillar for luxury goods lol jk. I appreciate that we have companies like Huawei that know there are enough buyers of these kinds of high end smartwatches that they will make this for them. You can tell it's well made and material choice is top notch. I do love luxury Swiss watches but I'm more into lesser known but just as well crafted brands instead of the mainstream stuff like Rolex so I can appreciate the craftsmanship here, I love a nice weighty well made watch but if I'm spending this kind of money, it wouldn't be on a smartwatch lol, no offense to Huawei.
I love the fabulous dive computer to 100m capabitity, as well as the watch being one of a few really upmarket watch brands, think Omega, to utilize liquid metal. That said, lack of software, particularly messaging that you bring up, as well as voice assistant will keep me away.
Hi Ben , it is a bit strange that I could use the watch 4 pro(Chinese version) to reply whatsapp message by voice or text. 😅The baidu keyboard can recognize both spoken English and Cantonese I am using. I just wonder if you are using the global edition of the watch which has fewer features ? As I think the top model (ultimate edition) should normally at least have the same functions from the lower model😊
That looks great but not $3000 good. For that money i would rather get a gshok / seiko / Christopher ward / monta / Hamilton / & all of those are far cheaper & won't even get outdated or slow in few years.
