Hi there - thanks for the question. It can do a number of things! This approach to conferencing brings higher performance to calls in a conference room setting: The Airtame Hub is hardwired into the network via Ethernet, and it is also hardwired into the peripherals (camera, speaker and microphone at the front of the room). This means the video feed is injected directly into the call with virtually zero latency. A wireless HDMI transmitter in a conferencing setting would have to send audio and video wirelessly back and forth, which can introduce delay, and degrades picture and audio quality. Also, you don't have to rely on the performance of your laptop, its signal strength or worry about its remaining battery power, since the Hub does all the heavy lifting.
