Hud wasn't an Israelite prophet, not mentioned in the Bible, he was most likely an Arabian prophet. The earliest mentioning of prophet Hud and his people was through pre-Islamic Arabic poetry. You would see in the Quran other than Israelite prophets, because we believe every nation received the message from among themselves.

I've seen some atheists say if the punishment of God is real, why didn't He punish us already? I was like: bruh, we are not called the *'final nation'* of the last messengers (Muhammad SAW) for no reason, the nation of the past met their punishment at the cost of their civilizations, but for us it means *_'The end of the worlds'_* we are the conclusion of this long history of mankind, so the test is even more severe in our times, Iblis/Satan is working even harder to bring people in hellfire with him, it is near of an end of the chapter. If Allah Wills for our punishment it means the end of creations a.k.a *_'Yawmul Qiyamah' (Apocalypse)_*

The bible talk about Eber/heber, possibly Hud, in the bible he was one of distant ancestor of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) pbuh. Ebere/Heber. Prophet Hud, pbuh, some associated it in classical Arabic/Islamic writings as the "father" of the "prehistoric, original Arabs" (the ʿArab al-ʿĀriba), who lived in the Arabian Peninsula after the Deluge. Aad (the nation) was well known in Arabia in pre-Islamic literature and poetry, one example in the Classical pre islamic literature is "they were killed like Aad" or "destoryed like the destruction of AAD" "qataluhum qatla Aad" meaning destroyed compleltley like Aad nation was destroyed.

Prophet Hud is an Arab prophet from the people of Ad and Ad, the defunct Arabs, the first Arabs

ISLAM is based on five pillars, which are: 1.To believe there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his slave and messenger (As-Shahadatayn: the twin testimony of faith). 2.To pray (Salah) five times in a night and day in fixed times. 3.To fast (Siam) the month of Ramadan. 4.To give alms (Zakah) to the poor. 5.And to perform pilgrimage (Hajj)
