That's what I do too but it's just not great for that even. I want something that has a bit more shimmer than that marble shade but it's just not there.
Hey Maaike, for the inner corner shimmer in Rose Quartz, try the shade Energized. I was also afraid it will just be too dark for that, but it turn out it's not! (I'm also very very pale.)
I get your ultimate choice, good reasoning. I would have gone with Pretty Grunge (don't have it, do want it, will likely live without it, have the shades elsewhere), but dark eyed looks are my thing. My only Huda palette is Mercury Retrograde and I surely wouldn't give it up. Great collection of Huda!
For me it's the Naughty Nude. Walks the line so well between wine/berry and pink/brown. I use it with my ABH Retro, which is one of my fave combos. Although I am also very partial to the Rose Quartz! I also have the Mercury which I do like, but I feel like it's a more expanded version of ABH Cosmos (or vice versa, cause I feel like ABH ripped Huda off here!) and I like that better. I use them together though and 👌 Also I still have the old Smokey 9 pan which I still LOVE for some reason. It looks so boring but there's just something about it with my skintone. It ends up looking so 'glam' and yet natural at once. I use with the the ND Bronze and that too had become one of my fave combos.
Hi Maaike I only own the rose quartz from Huda. It was the only colour story I really liked enough to buy. Most of her palettes are warm based with a lot of peach or orange tones. I do like the rose quartz but it is more glittery than I had expected and despite glitter glue tends to fall down my face 😂. I really like some of the matte shades and a few of the shimmers, but despite loving many of the shades the glitter stops it from being something I use frequently. Knowing that I haven’t bought any more from the brand. Best wishes x
Haha, no surprise there Maaike, I had Rose Quartz the odds on favourite to be your winner. I think Desert Dusk is my favourite big palette (made for an awesome thumbnail by the way) and I always liked the very warm orange/ bronze jewel palette that you for sure skipped and I can't remember the name of right now (Opal Obsessions?) Will have a look after I get out of the tub. It's the Topaz Obsessions that makes my blue eyes pop😂
