I've been listening to this routine since I was in high school, and I can't explain it, but every time I hear the phrase "No, there ain't been no accident," I just collapse in laughter. These two guys were as hilarious as it gets.
Love these guys! My dad had this record when I was a kid. This is one of those that's funnier as you get older. Just like Rocky and Bullwinkle you get jokes you didn't get as a kid.
My older brother brought these home and we wore out the tracks on our turntable, laughing our asses off the whole time. Love these guys. How did they disappear? They were brilliant.
I remember a local radio station used to have a segment where they'd play bits by these & several other comics! I was maybe 12 (1972), & it's been so long since I've heard this that it was the ending line that clued me in!

As the announcer would say at the end of the Emperor Hudson Radio Show would say......"Get of the Freeway Peasants, His Highness is Coming" LA had some great DJ's in the 60's...Machine Gun Kelly, Dick Hugg(*Huggy-Boy}, Casey Kasem et al....But the best was Wolf-Man-Jack...
My dad had the album Hanging In There by Hudson and Landry and we practically wore the album listening to it as kids and acting out all their skits on the album....Funny Stuff. The Funniest one was "Impossible Dreams"...can you upload that one?
