People here be acting like they're above the curve, when they probably aren't. What I think Huey is really saying is that stuff gets more complicated as you "dig". You can't tell if what you're reading is the truth, or a lie. Just because everyone believes something to be right, doesn't mean it is. However that goes equally for those unpopular conspiracies, beliefs, etc. Maybe the people who reject your "truth", are actually right. So who's right? Obviously you are , right? Because you're exceptional, and have all this "knowledge" to prove you're less of a "sheep" than the person next to you. Don't get me wrong I still think I'm a sheep or asleep, but my take on Huey's message still stands. Is the world crazy, or are you crazy? I say it's a mix.
Rogue Slushy I honestly think that in the long term it dosent matter what we think, call, label, say or do is all pointless in what we call reality. Emotion, morals, and ethics are pointless if you look at the world in a computer perspective. For say, if someone dies, people take it as a negative or posative thing, or usually think it means or symbolizes something. But all that reakky happened was that he died, and thats just it. Nothing more to it.
I think your on the right track, when I first started opening my eyes, I felt in a way superior to others. That I knew the Truth, and they didn't. But the older I've gotten and hopefully wiser.. I keep finding myself asking who actually has the Truth? How sure can I be of any fact that I can't physically test or witness myself? Of the things I am a 100% sure of is a very short list. And the sad part of that is even of those things that are without a doubt undeniably true.. I can't convince someone else that it is true. There is no link I can give to my memory, and my testimony anyone can rightfully assume is a lie, or flawed.

Sometimes we can't always except reality for what it is. So we create illusions like fantasies or dreams that help us cope with our disbelief. However at some point, we have to return to the real world in order to truly identify the difference between the actual truth and what we believe to be the truth. Ignorance can be blissful if the truth is painful. But knowledge is the true key to happiness in this world.
What he says about people who create realities for themselves is quite profound. People have a desire to make sense of things, but the problem is that the world doesn't always make sense. Whether it's religion, crank conspiracy theories, or bullshit in general, people will reject objective reality for something that subjectively makes sense to them. That's why I think the best way to truly see objective reality is to cast aside subjectivity and emotional engagement. When you do that you can see reality for what it is.
Not necessarily , we are comprised of emotion and the energy it gives off. To deny emotions is in itself partially denying truth. They’re meant to be a guide not rule over you and I think that’s what people don’t understand

People like knowing what's going on. Understanding everything. It's in our nature. Sometimes we do it for the wrong reasons though.What I think people need to stop doing is always thinking the truth is hidden under some facade, and stop driving themselves crazy with conspiracies. Stop trying to make yourself feel above everyone else because you know some societal secret that they don't. Enlightenment should be for entertainment, for protection, or for revolution. Maybe if everyone at least tried to fight for what's right (only if you know what you're fighting for is legit), eventually something will catch. Then, find a couple things in your own life that you know are true and just live. There, life is no longer so complicated.

I have a lot of questions and wished Huey was there to answer them but I have one that is currently on my mind, how do you feel happiness if you know the real truth about things? The reason why a lot of people feel happiness deals with a certain illusion to society. I’ve definitely been inspired into reading into things more.

For a 10 year old, Huey really knew. We’ve all been living in a false reality for so long that we now believe that everything we perceive with our own eyes is real but it’s not. When a child is born, it’s born without emotion or attachment to anything until the parent informs them of things we give labels to and tells the child what to feel to a certain thing/situation. We are all living in this play and creating personas for ourselves when in the very beginning and the end there were none. We’ve all been living a false reality with a false identity with false emotions.
False reality, more like false believes, that’s human weaknesses, I experience that in childhood, but I grow better after those negative impacts to make me do right things and be smart in any situations.
The truth is people the people have more power and control than they are willing to admit. It’s easy to just blame all of our problems on corporations and the government. But at the end of the day we have the literal power to elect representatives in order to get the changes we want. But the sad reality is our system grinding to halt and not getting much done is simply the system working as intended and reflecting the very real political divide we face in this country. And everybody has too much fucking pride to even look at their political adversaries as good human beings just trying to do their best.
