This is the best house 🏡 tour you have done Kevin and the price is very good I have been very negative in the past on the prices and locations but this is the place less than 150 USD a week you have enough privacy and I like how secure it is having the sea right at your back door in a bonus I'm a firm believer of real clean sea water and how good it Is for your body I would be in the water at least once a day. having those three lovable dogs around would 😊make me feel so happy

Beautiful place in an excellent location. I'm certain that is very easy to rent that place at that price. If you move out I'll take it.

Wow, we passed by this beach and familiar with this gated house. That's lovely find and by the beach. We visited this area checking out a property on offer nearby, just walking distance from this house. Actually, right next to the Beach Resort nearby, a good size lot over 2000 sqmtrs size, this was in 2003 ages ago. But the land had family disputes, the other family member don't like to sell the lot, we gave up. We ended up getting one up hill Valencia-Bacong area of a much bigger lot. But I still remember this beach area of San Miguel. We have a beach lot 2 hours away from Dumaguete, a family inheritance, we built a Bahay Kubo and only occupied during holidays. But looking back I wish we took the San Miguel beach lot, land prices in this particular area now sky rocketed.

It is worth every penny my friend.. I love to cook outside especially Fry seafood and barbecue and cook jambalaya in the early evening night and have a few drinks while I am cooking and you have a perfect place under roof.. I would put a refrigerator and a small Soundsystem for the outside cooking.. if you would buy small ice maker that you could put on your counter you would have more room in your freezer.. I love lots of ice and that's the first thing I'm going to buy after I arrive is a ice maker to fit on my countertop.. also you can pour the good water in it and that way your ice cubes will be clean.. great deal for you and your girl my friend😊😊

Kevin that is a beautiful place at a great price. Only thing that would worry me is that walkway for the locals to go to the beach right next to your house. Looking forward to my trip there in a few months with my Filipina girlfriend we are in South Florida. I want to visit for a month to see if I will like it there as far as to live. Hopefully we can meet one day.

I'm not surprised by that price! The rooms are really big to Philippine standards, you have aircon in every room, hot and cold water in the bathrooms and even a bath. I think that's a very fair price.

That's a bit over my budget but it seems like a great deal for everything that you get. Internet alone is generally a couple thousand. And you have all that space. Not just the big house with all the amenities but the entire compound really is wonderful. And if you want to entertain family and friends it's not going to feel like everyone is elbow to elbow. Good on you.

The monthly rent for that 2 bedroom unit is definitely very reasonable with everything going for it especially its' location ! It costs me that much for property taxes in the Northeast USA I hope I get lucky and find something similar when it's my turn to relocate. That's a great place and a good price--I was thinking it would be more $$$. I also like the shaded areas outside and lots of room inside and a nice shaded porch. Water pressure sounds great and a nice touch is having both the bathroom sink and shower water heated. Also, the gas stove & oven--that's great for cooking and baking and is less expensive than using the electric versions. Question: you said in another video that you are now back in the Philippines full time. Will you still be trading US stocks while living in the Philippines? If so, what broker do you use? I'll need to change brokers (other than Schwab) before I move permanently to the Philippines so I don't get locked out of my accounts.

I will have about 8 balikbayan boxes, shipped to me, and a 75'' TV. I don't have a Philippine address yet. Did you? Were you able to give LBC an address after getting there? My shipper says he will hold them in Jacksonville for a couple of weeks. But I would prefer taking my time and find the right place. You said that you were in a studio first. Did you have an address to ship to before leaving the states?

Just curious if there is any history of flooding from storm/tidal surge for that area?

$580 a month is a good deal for that place especially to have an extra bedroom! And to be that close to the beach. And it’s a great yard for dogs to run around which you already have. That’s a good base camp for traveling around the Philippines. It’s a little steeper in price than other places, but not that bad there’s so many benefits to that place it’s incredible.

Nice place and at a good price too! Yes, Dumaguete has gotten real expensive with small lots selling for 100k USD and more...many of the lots in the Duma/Valencia area sell for more than properties in the US of similar size. So many foreigners there in Duma/Val, driving up the price of everything. Last time I checked there are about 6000 foreigners in the area of about 120k locals.

Mark I believe only pays $600 for his gigantic place next door ! -?- The location is prime and worth a lot and the privacy is very nice and worth a lot too. Pretty damn nice - for sure !

That price is right, because of all the locale, amenities and modern conveniences it has. Bur you ARE living as an American, not a local. I want your old place when I move there in about 5 years so don't burn the place down! A tub? Wow, practically useless there. Glad to see you back.

Nice place, well worth the price. I live in a 1 bedroom 70 sq meter condo, and it's plenty of room. One thing I don't like is condo's in the Phil's are around 35 sq meter and that's to SMALL. As a single guy you needed 12 boxes? You must have shipped everything, but the kitchen sink. When I move to the Phil's 3 or 4 boxes max will be plenty. Anything I don't bring I'll just buy in the Phil's. If you don't want to spot shave just attach a small round mirror to the shower wall. 30K peso is inexpensive as my condo in California is $2,100. My son and his GF pay $2,700 for 85 sq meter condo.

$500 per month for a western quality place just steps from the beach in a beautiful compound. Amazing. I pay that much for auto insurance for myself and I two young adult sons.

It's worth that just to not hear the roosters and stray dogs barking all the time. And the motorscooters. Its very peaceful there. And heck, you probably make that in a days trading.😂 Take care.
