Well, it’s now over a month ago that I made my infamous backwards gp segments which Alfred ‘kindly’ made into a fishing video. I certainly deserved those comments from viewers about the ‘nice trees, beautiful sky, how did I make it home?’ My daughter just shook her head and said, ‘Oh Dad’. What more can be said.
It’s the biggest brown I’d ever caught and as I’m sitting on the bank admiring that beautiful fish, I’m suddenly coming to the realization of what has happened!
My mind goes from looking at the fish, to the anguish of what I’ve possibly done, to the action of actually going back into the water to pick up the fish.
I had taken the gp off its casing midway through the 1:42 original segment and as I placed it back on the ground to have 2 hands free, you once again see those magnificent trees!
Funny, you can hear me in the water as I scoop up the brown and it then appears unceremoniously on the bank. Looking at how active it was on the bank, I’m amazed it let me touch it in the water. Figured as soon as it felt pressure, it would leave. Not so!
You have to admit, that’s 30” of majestic fish fooled by a dork! And both are still around!
Work your magic Alfred as time is soothing my memory. And of course, the ‘atonement’ video was just 2 days later but a much smaller fish at 28”!
