My passion for stream fishing started with my dad. From a very early age, we’d go out for a few hours. He’d buy a dozen dew worms in an old soup can and off we’d go. I always knew where he was because the hummed when he fished. Maybe that’s why we never caught a big speckled trout but that humming is a 60 year old memory. Makes me smile still. I call my fishing CPR, catch, photo, release. The photo part began when I’d say to my wife, “you wouldn’t believe the fish I caught today.” And her response was always, “no I wouldn’t.” So I went out and bought a small waterproof camera which hung from my neck each fishing session. I had been thinking about go pro technology but at 76, all that new stuff was a bit too much. Then my daughter introduced me to someone who was computer literate. He told me to catch the fish and he’d edit the footage. Hallelujah So presently I’m wandering back in the bush where I’ve fished for 45 years. Hope you like the videos. Sincerely Big brown trout guy
