HUGE Abandoned Fairytale Castle with 365 Rooms | Rainbow Castle

Up high over looking a small village sits one of the most beautiful castles in the world. Built in 1605 the lavish castle boasts a large number of rooms. 1 for every day of the year to be exact. That’s right 365 rooms each having their own name and unique designs including the famously known peacock room that has every color you could imagine from floor to ceiling. For many years after the original family sold the property it ran as a hotel up until it’s closur in the 1990s. Not only that but the property also has an abandoned hotel that was halted during construction. To this day I will never understand how one amazing building like this could just sit and collect dust. Maybe one day this magnificent castle will be brought back to life.

I was curious about this castle, so I looked it up online. If it is the one in Florence, Italy, there is a short video of it and all it's beautifully colored rooms! Breathtaking. Thanks for trying!

This property could be renovated into a museum. A shame they had allowed for these beautiful historical buildings to rot and decay in such a wasteful way.

Had to laugh when you were looking for a way in through all the little spaces at the base. Castles built in 1605 were meant to keep enemies out. I'd have been shocked if you found a dungeon door. Great video of the outside. Glad to see they are working to preserve it. This type of history needs to be preserved.

This is so sad to see it fall a part. They build it to big so future generation cant afford to keep it uppdate and their is so many castles just like this, getting destroyed everyday. You can still have it big but less rooms. 5 big rooms(Livingroom, Throneroom, Hall, library, kitchen) and then 5-10 sleepingrooms it would still be big but easier to manage i think.

Like you I will never understand why? People are looking to a better life. What does the government do? Tents that don't withstand the weather. Castles empty land not being used. People are so cruel to people. This is not how it's suppose to be?

Holy cow, this property is amazing. If it was here in Brazil, it wouldn't be abandoned, we have so many homeless people here that this place would already be occupied by hundreds of them. Sadly, the global paranoia that followed the p@ndem1k of the made in Ch1n@ v1rus destroyed the world's tourist industry, and Italy was one of the first countries in the world to succumb. When a wonderful venture like this is abandoned it is because it is no longer profitable, and no one is interested in it anymore.

FAIL! I was all worked up and couldn’t wait to see the castle. 🤤 Bummer you couldn’t pay the tour ticket for 50 euros 💶 but had to try and get in free. 🤣 Give it 20 years to look like the other places.

Ci ho alloggiato nel castello quando era ancora aperto negli anni 90 meraviglioso. La leggenda che ci sia uno spirito che aleggia nel castello è vera, ne siamo stati testimoni. La fauna li attorno è meravigliosa e gli alberi del viale arrivano dall'america sono sequoie centenarie
