With so many random and odd things thrown together in just trash bags I'm thinking it's not some sort of religious offering, but honestly even if it was none of that belongs in the river and does need to go so keep doing what you do.

Looks like the junk drawer in the crafting room combined with stuff from cleaning the garage. Theory 1) Maybe at some point, all this randomness will make sense and guide us in through the randomness of our lives. Or, Theory 2) it's just a bunch of junk from the junk drawer. The kayak paddle find came at the right time, considering Adam was worried about running out of gas (couldn't see clearly, but did you poke Adam in the butt with it before showing him? 😂). Jeremy, you all clean the environment and you did the right thing. Remove trash from the water flow,cause what if a kid found it or someone else. They'll just take what they want then toss it back in. You did the right thing.

Looks like my mixed media junk drawer for art. People collect all types of metal and other junk and glue it to a canvas then paint it etc Looks pretty cool when complete. Also the rocks looks like the ones you find people leaving in random places with painted message on it,

You did the right thing, the river is not the place for plastic garbage bags, metal objects that are sharp and will rust, objects that do not break down and pollute the water which is not as important as the wild life that requires clean water for their survival

Jeremy it was more than likely a religious offering. It has served it's purpose and needed to be removed from the water. My first thought when you found the kayak paddle was "If Adam ran out of gas you guys would at least have a better chance to get back to the truck now" 😂. It was keep sakes of a serial killer. Random trophies mixed in with random tools of their sick trade Some of their pagon ,witchcraft , or satanic ceremonial nick nacks used for self justification & hopes for not ending up in hell, or a some kind of honor if they end up in hell. Of course fire awaits them. No cushy job in hell. Rocks used to weigh it down in hopes all evidence will be unrecognizable if ever found. They wanted to ditch it because they were paranoid someone was getting wise, they had to move for some reason & couldn't take it, maybe someone knew entered their life or home like new love or old fam member moving in, or Maybe they didn't like what they did & wanted to try to start a new life. Most likely an addiction they won't be able to shake long. Btk killer gave abstinence from it a good go. Quit for years. That's my guess. They predict any given time in the US there are somewhere between 20 & 50 active serial killers. Idk how they get that number. Seems scary, but % wise it's not too bad. Hell, our gov has more serial killers than that. Psychopaths do tend to be successful like that. They say around 5% our population are psychopaths. I'm sure it's a world wide deal. Both serial killers & psychopaths. GOOD NIGHT ALL!

🤣.. I've seen videos where bags were open that were found under water and there were goat heads in it. I would be cautious opening any bag that was tied shut and thrown in the water.

Good place to go river treasure hunting if in south Missouri is the Current River. Been coneoing there lots of times and partying but never focused on lost treasure aspect. Loads of people go on it every summer. Gotta be lots of Gold and Silver jewlery lost

WHAT?!! No golf balls!! I was tripping when you were looking at the bucket handle!(I thought it was a tampon plastic) And again, that's what I get for thinking 😂 But y'all did right by getting that stuff outta the river. To you it doesn't matter if it's trash or treasure, you're cleaning out the river. When my son was 5,we were walking out to a sandbar in a river(Elbert Co) and he stepped on a broken beer bottle,13 stitches. So thank y'all for your efforts. Be careful and God bless

well done, guys. the things you found are Norse Pagan, but there's no harm in removing it from the river...and in fact, they wouldn't want it in the river, either. What you found looks to be items off a shrine, so I'm baffled why they would be in the river that's the first place. Possibly stolen, or possibly belongings from a Pagan who passed away.

That first site is more of a weir than a dam - by the look of it, it replaced a more complex structure holding water wheels for milling or some industrial process (the old brick building at the far end looks like it may be related to that). That bag of stuff is better out of the river than in it.👍
