Hey Thrift School! Love the videos! One thing that's worked for me on CD's is if you find several CD's by the same artist and lot them together they sell very well. Even if individually they only scan for like a penny or something if you have "Lot of 3 Garth Brooks CD's" or "Lot of 6 Bon Jovi CD's" you can get $10-20 per lot.
Awesome! Great find on the CDs. The wife and I hit some yard sales last weekend, and we were not finding anything, and then stopped at one more home, and I picked up about 300 CDs for $25. I knew they looked pretty good, and there were about 20 new sealed ones. After scanning them all into Amazon (merchant) the same day I should profit about $700. I love finding good CDs at yard sales! Best wishes! -Steven
That's some awesome profit man, nice haul. Removing stickers from goodwill stores is pretty annoying. Here in California, they put the big stickers and they're sliced in an X shape and they ALSO have 2 little circles in the center too which just makes the process even longer. I use a mini flat head screwdriver I have and some olive oil or alcohol to accelerate the process. Also helps to watch your videos or CraigslistHunter while I go robot mode doing that. My rule is I JUST pick up sealed CDs since I only sell on Ebay. I just feel that it's safer, but I should probably jump on FBA soon.
Thanks for all the information I sold my first item on amazon today that I got brand new from a local goodwill! And made a good profit off it! Keep up the great info and keep thrifting man.
Thrift School. Great video. How exactly do you get the Goodwill label off? It looks to be very difficult. Can you do it without damaging the original packaging on the one that have not been opened? And also you have your shirts wrapped and folded very nicely.
Yes you can sell DVDs and CDs in Amazon. You have to go through several screens before you find the SELL button. There are exceptions, but I don't have much of a problem selling DVDs and CDs. Of course some studios and companies are "a*holes" and restricted their movies.
Question! If you're making so much money why does your place look like you're poor? A honest person would not mislead people in believing they can get rich thrifting. Why don't you make a disclaimer.
Wish I was ungated in music. Last year I couldnt even apply for music. This year it allows me to apply but need a invoice from a distributor and the only distributors I've reached out to require minimum 1k purchase. Not worth the risk, cause amazon could still deny application ugh
i resell clothing and sometimes games. clothes are my bread and butter now. What sells for me is vintage jackets ,hats, t-shirts. i used to sell lots of games but after the game hunting vids came out it just killed any chance of finding games. plus places like goodwill got smart and ship stuff to HQ. i rarely find good stuff like back in the day. i used to find super nintendos with boxes. my best score was a sealed mario sun shine for the game cube. great vid but man i missed when stuff wasn't pick through
Do you use the default Amazon packing list generator or do you use Inventory Lab like I’ve heard other FBA sellers suggest, since it’s supposedly a lot easier?
I have a link in my description. Its a JFJ Easy Pro. Works Amazingly. Ive cleaned Hundreds of Games, CDs and DVDs in it. There was only 1 video game over the past 2 years that it couldnt fix, but it was extremely wrecked.
What's up man? Love your vids. You're basically one of the reason I started thrifting for profit. I'm still learning my brands and games, but need your help on these old psp games. I bought a bundle of four games at salvation army. I got one that's called "psp puzzle bobble pocket taito". Japan copy, "psp gran turismo" (no case, but in great condition), new "psp star trek tactical assault" and "psp socom2". Got all this for 5 dollars. Was wondering if I should sell all in one bundle? Thanks for all your input!
No doubt man I Love goodwill hunting and it’s cool to watch other people’s experience. I just wish I loved the listing and shipping as much as the sourcing lol that’s the sucky part
Can't get mad at a business. People are willing to pay too. Plus someone else's daughter or son will love it just as much. It's a big circle until someone throws it away.
But I'm more concerned about is he says he sold items for $10 when they're listed as sold for $11.97. This would make me believe he had to pay taxes on the $11.97 price not on the $10 sale. It's ridiculous that you can only make a few hundred dollars on eBay before they start chunking taxes out of it!
Because when ppl charge $28 + $6.55 shipping why not just charge $34 with free shipping. That’s what I do. Ppl love free shipping myself included when shopping
@@b-man1232 he will make about 4 bucks those items add up so easy profit all day. He explained in the video and showed on screen what he made off of a 1 dollar CD fees and shipping was almost 7 bucks he paid 1 dollar so he spent about 8 bucks and it sold for 13 bucks
Real music fans do. I buy CD's all the time. I like to own a real object of value plus digital downloads and steaming sucks. The sound quality of a CD is way better.
