@@nabzlo1006 As I understand it, gitas already have a 2JZ-GE, but run an AWD auto box. I *think* the rear diff is the same as the RWD non-gita models but idk. You could probably swap in the GTE just fine but I know nothing about how much power the transmission can take. There are adapters for the R154 if you want to go RWD.
@@GuyMahoney my gita was the rear wheel drive 1g beams , so I'm good there just need to source a better rear diff and a r154 ... I already have the engine and all its gear
@@nabzlo1006 Awesome. The 8" diff from Chasers and 2J and 3S tezzas fit in IS200s that have the same 1G engine and 7.5" diff, so realistically it should fit the 1G gita too.
We didnt get the altezza in the uk its called the is200 with a 2.0 straight 6 or the is300 with the 2jz ge but automatic only, a popular engine swap in the is200 is the toyota 1uz or 3uz v8 they make a superb drift car.
@@zilla9676 i got mine from some lady down by sanfransico it had 100,000 miles and everything was in great condition we settled on 7k but sadly I got in a hit and run now you can find a good condition one for around 7-8k
the engine for that thing is massive and super heavy so it would change the center of gravity of the entire tow truck and cause some sort of damage to the trailer or the truck being trailered
That Mitsubishi eclipse though ❤️ the Eclipse GSX is the all wheel drive version of eclipse it share the same Engine and drive train of EVO 3 if I may not mistaken, so basically eclipse is two door evo
Toyotas are Engine-Chassis-Generation-Variant so: JZ engine - X chassis - 10th generation is JZX100 JZ engine - Z chassis - 3rd generation is JZZ30 (Soarer) S engine - XE chassis - 1st generation is SXE10 (BEAMS Altezza) A engine - E chassis - 8th generation is AE8x (5 and 6 being RWD variant)

Yeah!!!!! Toyota 86!!!!! Been following the 86 since the FT-86 Concept in 2009-2010, to when it first came out as the 2012-2013 Scion FR-S in the U.S., to when Scion switched over to just Toyota in 2016, till today with the new 2022 Toyota GR 86 soon to be released. I am very fond of this car because I have an interest in its design & rich history as an AE-86 & as a 2000 GT especially since I was learning Industrial Design a.k.a. Product Design at the time when the car came out & also because of Initial-D.
Sammit the Supra is cool & all but we all know why the turbo would be lagging T78 is 20+ years old.. Barely any turbos at the size of a T78 lag nowadays ;) My old Supra was full boost at 4800rpm on a GTX47R.. a T78 is the size of a 3582r :D
