LOOOOL. I was talking about this very thing with friends at dinner last night. I told them about this video, and we all quickly realized that each of us pronounced this studio's name a different way, haha. So I naturally did some digging, and found this post in a pronunciation thread that I think explains the pronunciation well. Here's the thread if you want to read it, but I'll also quote it here: myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=472741 "The only reason the Japanese say it as Yū-Fō-Te-Bu-ru is because they literally do not have a katakana character to write the phonetic pronunciation of the English "F" (i.e. eff). It is literally impossible in their written language to write it in such a way that the Japanese audience could actually read. But with that being said, they most definitely are referencing the English acronym U.F.O. and mean to convey the image of them as a studio being futuristic or "from outer space" or "out of this world" you could even say. You get the point. It's not just a made up word they created and that's precisely why it's written in English. Ufotable is NOT an English translation of a Japanese word! They use katakana to write it which is one of their 3 different alphabets. It's a phonetic alphabet and it's the one they use when writing FOREIGN words. But like many written languages, it lacks a lot of sounds that aren't commonly used in the Japanese spoken language. So you will not find any words written in japanese, foreign or otherwise, that start with an "eff" sound. That doesn't mean it's necessarily intended to be spoken without an eff sound. But it does mean that the general Japanese public is going to pronounce it the way they are able to read it as most of the Japanese public actually has, generally speaking of course, not the best grasp of English... But I say all that just to basically to say that I personally attest and firmly believe it was the studio's actual intention when creating their name to be pronounced like it would be in English (where they got their inspiration from): Yū-Eff-Oh-Tāy-Bull."
Knowing Demon Slayer, it will definitely deliver top notch goods. Entertainment District Arc was a big screen movie quality episodes. Those battle scenes were wild.
So are we ignoring the fact that all three movies will be happening on the same night and still continue with Sunrise arc ... It's really the long night 😵💫😵💫😵😵
i dont see a problem in a night being 7 hours long (3 x 2hrs = 6 hrs + additional buffer ) also so of the part will be during and after sunrise soo the night would be of 5 hrs i think
I don’t know why everyone is gaslighting themselves into thinking its 2027. It really isn’t. Itll be next year. They’re already done with one of the movies, maybe even 2, because they start animating as soon as their last season was animated, and the hashira arc was animated and ready for almost a year and a half.
@@Yokaisenn Because gotouge literally said that the animation was ready for ages… and beside they’re literally promoting infinity castle arc in theatres in japan already, they don’t tend to do that over 3 years early
Source: Dude, trust me. LOL, but in all honesty, if this is the case, that would be sick! I would not complain, as long as they didn't rush anything, and weren't working under unnecessary production crunch!
@@w.a.t.e.rmelon like you said. As far as i saw on Twitter, December 2024 is already confirmed. Also, isnt the triology covering Infinity Castle arc? THat means, Sunrise could still be a seperate arc
They also have said a year ago when Swordsmith Village was still airing, they have started development on Hashira Training Arc and Infinity Castle Arc as well. I think it was just planning how they want to animate it back then. So right now, Hashira Training Arc has already ended and I believe while it was been airing before it ended, Ufotable has already been animating Infinity Castle Arc and who knows, they might be also planning Sunrise Arc as well.
Interesting! I'm super down if we get these movies sooner than later, as long as they aren't rushed, haha. That would be awesome! And I believe the sunrise arc is going to be included in these movies as well. Everything I've read has said the series is going to be finished with this trilogy: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
The infinity castle arc is all over the place so pacing with normal episodes would be close to impossible, so doing movies is probably the right way to go
@@joaquimbarbosa896 The amount of fights and action alone would EASILY sum up to about two hours. I mean, Akaza's fight against Rengoku took up a good portion of the first movie and that was just to showcase the power of an upper rank, imagine how cracked and long Tanjiro and Giyu vs Akaza would be since Akaza is actually going all out. This, and we actually get to see the Upper Rank's backstories. This doesn't even compare to Kokushibo's fight though, which i imagine would last for most of the third film. (I'm guessing each of the top three upper ranks will be fought in each movie). Plus, the Sunrise Countdown arc will definitely be included in the Trilogy no doubt
Nah, imagine watching AT LEAST 6 hours of demon slayer movies in a row, in a cinema, with obv breaks, which means it's like you wake up 9 am and by 5 pm you are done, plus it's gonna cost a LOT, so not many people will probably watch it
Oh yeah, I’m super hyped for the finale of Demon Slayer to be three movies! Mugen Train was a fantastic moviegoing experience, so I can only imagine that Infinity Castle will be the same! I also appreciate you compiling this information and giving some estimates about the films’ release dates and runtimes, as I’ll keep them in mind! Thanks again, and I look forward to the next video, Drew!
Thanks, Henry!! I hope I'm not too far off on my estimates, and I'm quite curious to see how accurate my predictions are. And yes, I think that Infinity Castle is definitely going to be some of the best moviegoing experiences that I've had in a long time, so I'm definitely pumped, haha!
@@DrewMalou Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing how close you are to the mark, too! It was fun watching Mugen Train with a lot of other people, so I can only imagine how hype Infinity Castle will be!
@@intercrew99 Yes, the Mugen Train movie was in theaters, and it was a great time! If Infinity Castle is even crazier than the latter film, it'll be a blast!
I am okay with infinity castle trilogy but they should make countdown to sunrise arc in season and give demon slayer a perfect ending with a final season
I'm always down for more Demon Slayer content, but I believe they are closing out the entire series with these three films: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
Yeah, I think it will be included in the trilogy: www.polygon.com/anime/24189436/demon-slayer-infinity-castle-final-arc-movies-trailer-trilogy Infinity Castle, will roll out in theaters as an “epic trilogy of films.” In a news release, Crunchyroll notes that “the three-part cinematic movies represents the final arc and culmination of the hugely popular award-winning anime shonen series.”
@@DrewMalou damn, I really hope tho they can kinda stretch some stuffs like the stuff that happened after Muzan, LIke tanjiros descendants and perhaps Tanjiros and others marriage.
Just finished the Hashira arc. It was the best animation ive ever seen in anime. Some of the scenes looked so beautiful and the scenery was so lifelike
Imagine mugen train breaking numbers at the time of covid, pretty sure Infinity Castle arc is gonna go over that easily since it’s literally the booming time of social media.
Mugen train hit so high Numbers BECAUSE of Covid. The people cant do shit at this time and just went to the cinema. You can read this somewhere in the Internet
I'd prefer seasons because it gives more time for things like character development, backstories, relationship progression, added lore, humorous exploits, and feel good moments. I love battle scenes and I think they did a good job with Mugen train, but a movie by its nature will always feel rushed compared to a season episode format.
That's a good point!! Hopefully we get the best of both worlds, and they will adapt these movies as a season like they did for Mugen Train. That would be interesting to see!
the only con is i won't be able to see the hashira training arc finale episode on cinemas as i had the last 2 seasons. watching tengen vs gyutaro on the big screen was glorious. and this episode topped it, it would have been magnificent to see it in all of it's glory
im glad someone actually knew what they were getting into when going to see it. i could not believe the amount of people who didnt read and thought they were scamming with the theater releases
@@gobbagoo yeah, I was surprised by the outraged. The worst part is I didn't see that much outrage if any when they did it for the beginning of the 3rd season. But then for the has hora training there was a ton, and that was the 2nd time they did it and always said it was just the ending of the last season and the beginning of the new one. Did demon slayer got that much popular with "normies" in between the release of season 3 and 4? That they didn't know how it worked and weren't so into it to have read about it?
We don't know this will be the case. The first Infinity Castle movie could very well include the final episode from S4 like the previous theatrical releases.
I honestly love that they did it in films, movies just have a better feel in my opinion. Look at movies like Avengers Infinity war and Endgame, again at least we don’t have to worry about the quality of animation since it’s a movie, and you also get to enjoy people around you in the theaters screaming their lungs out, it’s amazing. 😂❤
Tbh the only part I don't like about movies is people around me constantly talking and saying stuff that ruins everything. Even though they might talk only once, sometime they say one thing that makes me punch them I'm the face. And since it's anime, there will be parent bringing their children, ruining everyone's experience.
They’re probably gonna have a movie for each year, so infinity castle will be done in 3 years, since demon slayer was already animating hashira training arc and infinity castle by the time sword smith village was airing.
My only problem with the movies are the spoilers since these movies gets released in some countries earlier and then there are spoilers everywhere and no matter how hard I try I know I won't be able to stop my temptations from clicking on those spoilers
This shouldn't be a concern because it is nearly impossible to watch any anime without knowing any spoilers especially if it is releasing it in theatres. Because Manga was already finished 4 years before so in some way people might get spoiled without even knowing. Demon Slayer is also not known for its storytelling but if you prefer to watch without knowing any spoilers especially now it will be nearly impossible but best of luck because it will be truly amazing and spectacular.
Yeah, when you're talking about animation spoilers, you're absolutely correct. These visuals are going to get plastered everywhere as soon as they come out, , lol. It's going to be tough to avoid them!
Pretty sure it’s harder to see spoilers when it’s released in theaters early rather than digital, like I’ve never even heard about some anime films till like several months after their release, but idk considering it’s demon slayer, people would probably post leaks about it.
This was such a decriptive and well done video, thank you! Also, great that you provided chapter length to episode length ratios and links in the comments mentioning Sunrise Countdown will be included in the movies.
@@OnePieceBleachNaruto929 sry mate, i dont consider op or Naruto anime...they are kids shows..bleach is ok i quess. Ive watched over 200 anime from all genres in the past decade so yes i can say for sure ds is the dark souls of anime
For me personally, i feel like 3 movies is a bit too much. i more like series as it breaks it down and you can understand and take a breather but honestly i can see where they are going with this, with movies you can add extra scenes without waiting for the other episode to come out. i will probably wait for them to finish and then watch the dub (which will probably take ages, considering the dubbed version of the Hashira training arc is being released every week i think). but still i can see where it's going. nice job dude you explained well and i understood it :D. just gotta wait for these movies to come out i have a feeling they will be epic!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Glad you enjoyed the breakdown. And yeah, the dubbed version will take ages to release! But I respect the commitment for wanting to watch it your preferred way. I definitely think these movies are going to be something truly special, so I am excited to see what awaits us!
Most anime movies nowadays though will have 2 versions being screened in cinema during international release, you get to pick either sub or dub. Boy and the heron was like that, even Mugen train, though granted since US release was way later which allowed them to be able to put out the dub version at the same time. But if you live in SEA, we will probably get the movies in the cinemas way earlier but only with the sub version
great video! appreciate you giving your thoughts and not just saying "hey we are getting 3 movies!" also like your editing 👍 One thing to point out though are its trilogy is labeled as "Infinity Castle arc" so I do not think it will conclude the series. Also saw on twitter that we might be getting the first movie in December 2024 nothing is confirmed though but the wait wouldn't be as bad if we get a movie early.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, I tried to give as much context and data that I could to make informed predictions, lol. It would be amazing if we got the first movie this year!! That would be so hype. And I'm not sure why they labeled the film trilogy as "Infinity Castle" because Sony and Crunchyroll have confirmed that these three movies will conclude the Demon Slayer series, at least that's how it's being reported: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058
@@DrewMalou Oh interesting. I think it would be slightly awkward to have a trilogy then end with a season anyways so I guess the series ending with the trilogy makes sense. I feel like its too much content for 3 two hour movies though but we'll see I trust ufotable haha.
last time i went to a cinema it was for dune 2 and i dont think i would have licked it as mutch on my laptop the sound was just crazy so i dont mind going out to have more pleasur
It being a movie trilogy is really cool and seeing the best arc in the series in theaters sounds amazing. But I was actually hoping they just did it in a tv series because of how long we're gonna have to wait for each individual movie to come out. Even if we get the first movie, not just we're gonna be left with a cliffhanger but we're going to have to wait another year for it continuation and then a year after that. Feels like it's gonna butcher the hype for me but I'm still hyped.
Yeah, that will be interesting to see... Cause that's a good point... If there is a huge break between films, the hype might definitely fade out. But I'm the same as you... I'm STILL hyped!! Haha
when its all said and done i think that having watchable(hopefully) animated movies to this degree and being able to watch them back in order all at once will be one of the best viewer experience's you could ask for and it would take 2 more years to get through the final arc with a tv show cause that shit is long as fuck the manga is 200 chapters the final arc takes up like what 70 of them
I'm very excited! It just sucks that we are gonna have to wait a long time for all of them all to come out 😭 I just hope that with three movies it doesn't feel stretched out and that each one can kinda stand on its own a little.
l know one of the common criticisms for demon slayer is that while the fight scenes are top notch, you have to sit through a good amount of episodes to reach it (remember that in season 1 the scene that put it on the map was ep 19) a movie practically guarantees a good few scenes and that's including backstory or monologues. Utofable, while maybe not the best at paying taxes, luckily has a good reputation with their workers so I hope this extra workload doesn't get as bad as MAPPA
Yes, these are good points to remember!! And I actually found out about the tax situation while researching this video... I want to make a video breaking it down and studying it, because I thought it was so interesting! These movies are going to be insane, but I'm with you, I hope their animation staff isn't crushed too badly because of the production workload.
I am so excited for the films. It is going to be the best! Animation will be on next level! I will be 37 when they get released. Haha. Loved the video mate. Love from Mumbai.
As a manga reader, three movies are too short for the scenes to come. The 3 upper moon fights are okay, but the Muzan fight and more... I'm afraid some good scenes will be removed from the movies.
heyooo one of my favorite anime channels is back! I just checked your channel, even have the notification bell on for a long time, and did not get or see a notification about the Frieren video! RU-vid algorithm killing channels I guess.
Let's goooo!! And dang, that's wild. I suppose the algorithm works in mysterious ways, lol. I'm just glad we found each other again. Thanks, as always, for watching!
the fights in the fate movies are know as the best animated fights ever made, and now ufotable are making movies with even higher budget. this is going to be🔥🔥🔥
Non Spoiler Topics that need to be covered in the movie in addition to Combat in the infinity castle. 1. Tanjiros Father flashback and his story and why tanjiro can channel yoirichi . 2. Yoirichi Muzan Flashback ( I feel like this deserves to be a movie itself although it might never happen would have been cool to see ''The legend of Yoirichi'' covering origin of muzan , origin of demons, origins of breathing techniques, and battles, aftermath and ending with the origin of demonslayer corps ) 3. Zenitsu Backstory ( we know nothing about his origins except for a couple training montages with gramps) 4. Inosuke Backstory ( We know nothing about Inosuke or how he ended up in a river with his name on loincloth) These are the three main characters and main villain about whom we know so little about lol. 5. Insect hashira backstory and who she was preparing aoi to fight against. 6. Doma Introduction, Flashbacks and Fight 7. Upper one origins and Fights. 8. Akaza Origin flashback and Revenge kill for our guy Rengoku 9. Face off with Muzan is probably going to be the whole of the last movie im guessing. i dont know if any other new demons are going to be introduced etc but just flashbacks themselves should take up two movies worth lol. I dont know if the stories are going to be compromised or the fights are going to be shorter. I would have loved to see long seasons like the entertainment district arc which is still my most favorite arc in any anime. Ufotable better not mess this up.
All good points. We _MIGHT_ get to see some seasons after the films release, like we did for Mugen Train, but I'm not entirely sure. That could be the best of both worlds... But thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I'm very glad they did movies. Seasons just wouldn't make sense financially or with the pace of how the end goes. It will make a ton of money in theaters and then you can sell the box set and make even more. This is basically all out war for 3 films in a row with almost no breaks. But yeah you're right about the animation time, it's gonna take awhile to get it done. They need to all take a vacation between films.
This was a great video. I'm confused as they said only Infinity Castle Arc, not the Final Battle Arc and the Sunrise Countdown Arc is not mentioned anywhere either, at least not yet, so are they really gonna adapt the remaining 66 chapters in those 3 movies? Since I feel like on an average of 22 chapters per movie, they will be well over 3 hours right? I'm not sure whether they'll just adapt the infinity castle arc only or the sunrise countdown arc will be in it, for me it makes sense for just the infinity castle arc only since they'll have to adapt around 15-16 chapters per movie only then they might announce a new season or another movie(s) later in the future when the time comes.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. 😊 And Crunchyroll and Sony have come out saying that these three films are going to conclude the Demon Slayer series. www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 Not sure why they chose to call the whole thing "Infinity Castle" because it does seem a little confusing, and yes, 22 chapters might be a lot to adapt, but many of these chapters are heavily combat focused, so they might be able to speed things up if need be, if that makes sense. I honestly would love it if the movies were 3 hours long, but for the sake of production time, I don't see them making the movies longer than 2 or 2.5 hours.
Because Sony and Crunchyroll have confirmed that the series is concluding with these movies. www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058
3 movies is THE BEST way to go about it. I was hoping they'd do it. Higher budgets are crucial for 66 chapters of fighting that are visually akin to the end of seasons 2 and 4.
I mean, anything's _possible_ but I just don't see how they would pull it off. That would be so much work... I think we are probably just going to have to wait. And yeah, I'm seriously contemplating reading the manga myself, lol. I want to know what happens!
@@DrewMalou Right?? I mean we got 8 episodes for only 12 chapters of the manga this season. But I assume we also got many anime only scenes as well. Thinking about it, there are still 3 movies to be published but each of them will cover about 22 chapters. Comparing them to each other I strongly believe unfortunately we'll receive a movie each year. Just like how the Ufotable have done with the previous series. This means that we most likely have 3-4 years to wait until we see the whole thing in the anime. That is because, if we consider we'll receive a movie each year.
theyve done a trilogy of movies before and back then it was one movie a year only difference this time is demon slayers pretty much the only thing theyre working on
YES!!! Heck yeah, you're one of the OG's, haha. I'm so stoked to go back to Fire Force and hear more of those insane sound effects. I will definitely be making more sound design content!
tribology was the best choice i can't imagine people screaming in theater in every god dam scene and that animation woooow,i m sure that it going to build a big fandom when last movie is about to release
I’m excited for the 3 movies, however I hope the go back to the anime show for the last season of sunrise count down. Do you think they will release the infinity castle arc movies as an anime show like they did for the mugen train movie?
That's definitely a possibility! But since it's the finale of the show, I _personally_ don't think they will make it into an anime show like they did with Mugen Train. And supposedly, Sunrise Countdown is going to be included in these films: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
@@DrewMalou It might be included I just had seen something showing that basically it was gonna be a movie for akaza one for doma and the last against kokushibo. But I saw that like a week ago approximately. I’m not trying to say you’re wrong I’m just telling you something that I had seen.
Given what you just said about movies having less filler and more fight scenes, they OWE us movies. We essentially got 7 episodes of filler and 1 awesome final episode with season 4. Comparing that to the previous season, there was so much more fight scenes in the last season. So yea, feel like they need to make up for that and get back to the epic fighting!
See, that's funny, because I actually really enjoyed the slow pace of the Hashira Training arc. I didn't think it was filler, but a lot of people felt that it was. I thought it was more like the calm before the storm, so I was cool with it. But yeah, that last episode was nuts!! I would love it if we got three movies full of scenes like that! That would be so amazing.
There's actually a lot of dialogue in Infinity Castle lol I'm going with Sunrise being it's own thing outside of the trilogy. Too long to cram into a two hour film.
That would be sick, but supposedly it's going to be included in the movies: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq www.polygon.com/anime/24189436/demon-slayer-infinity-castle-final-arc-movies-trailer-trilogy
@DrewMalou well Ufotable has only referred to it as the IC arc and not SC, they don't label it as the final arc either. So I'm hoping for just IC lol time will tell though
Crunchyroll said this: “the three-part cinematic movies represents the final arc and culmination of the hugely popular award-winning anime shonen series.” But yeah, I guess we will have to wait and see if that really is it or not.
Yes, but supposedly Sunrise Countdown is going to be included in these films. Everything I've read says the series is ending with this trilogy: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
But that's not what the official announcement said. The official announcement only said that the Infinity Castle arc was going to be a movie trilogy. That's ALL that was said. Nothing else. Every additional piece of reporting was assumptions that keep getting repeated until people believe that's what was announced.
Sunrise countdown is not an official arc. It’s a section of the infinity castle arc that fans decided to sanction as its own arc for some arbitrary reason. That’s why they included it as part of the trilogy.
It's not like they're trying to hide the information, you can just google it and find the answer: www.polygon.com/anime/24189436/demon-slayer-infinity-castle-final-arc-movies-trailer-trilogy Infinity Castle, will roll out in theaters as an “epic trilogy of films.” In a news release, Crunchyroll notes that “the three-part cinematic movies represents the final arc and culmination of the hugely popular award-winning anime shonen series.”
Hi Drew. I completely share your sentiments regarding the release of the three films. Another thing to consider is that the Japanese tv broadcast regulations encourage blurring through complex fights (think JJK S2). Theatrically released films should completely bypass that law. Also, UFOtable are renowned for producing some of the best animated films. If they're done well, they could push Demon Slayer to be considered one of the best fully adapted works to date.
That's a great point! No regulatory enforced "ghosting" or "dimming" of action frames. That's cause for celebration in and of itself! And you're absolutely right. I think that these three films will cement Demon Slayer as exactly that, one of the best anime adaptations of all time!
The movies are likely to ONLY adapt Infinity Castle Arc. Not just that it's not confirmed that it's an outright finale, but the season if condensed into episodes make up 17-18 movies which can easily make up 3 movies (6 episodes per movie i.e. 120 minutes runtime with each)
Interesting, that's not what I've heard. I believe Sony and Crunchyroll have confirmed that this trilogy will close out the entire Demon Slayer series: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
The reason why doing the in movies instead of a season, is because demon slayer has a very fast pace to it and it isnt a very long manga so instead of have like 1 maybe 2 seasons they can put into 3 movies. This also will give them a lot of time to really focus on the animation since they 6 battles in the infinity castle arc. 2 battles for 2 movies maybe 3 for the 2nd and then the last one for the final battle.
I stand by my pronunciation! lol. Here's the best explanation I've seen so far: myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=472741 The only reason the Japanese say it as Yū-Fō-Te-Bu-ru is because they literally do not have a katakana character to write the phonetic pronunciation of the English "F" (i.e. But I say all that just to basically to say that I personally attest and firmly believe it was the studio's actual intention when creating their name to be pronounced like it would be in English (where they got their inspiration from): Yū-Eff-Oh-Tāy-Bull.
From what i know each movie could reach up to 3-4 hours, but im not completely sure, also, quick question. Will the movies be released on netflix? Crunchyroll is def gonna make up pay and i cant watch them on tv, i hope sm1 uploads them to yt if they dont get put on netflix 😭🙏
I believe they have confirmed that these three movies will close out the whole series: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
First movie = Shinobu vs Douma, Zenitsu vs Kaigaku, Giyu & Tanjiro vs Akaza Second movie = Kanao & Inosuke vs Douma, Obanai & Kanroji vs Nakime, Muichiro Genya Sanemi & Gyomei vs Kokushibo Third movie = All out to Muzan.
I would have liked to see all three films by the end of 2025 itself. I think they have already finished animating infinity castle. They might be working on the 2nd part of the finale now. Infinity castle movie 1 in January 2025, and the 2nd one by July 6 months gap and the third by end of December almost 6 months gap. It would have been even more amazing then ❤❤🔥🔥 In that case hype wouldn't go down either due to less waiting period.
Yeah, that would be INSANE if they were able to make those movies in that amount of time, haha!! I wouldn't be complaining, but those poor animators. This would be dope, but I can't imagine they will be able to produce the films that fast and maintain the level of quality that the show has seen so far.
Yes, I go over this at 5:41. They are presumably including Sunrise Countdown in these three films. www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
Funny enough is my biggest concern is wondering if 6-7 hours will be enough to get through all of the content in a satisfying way. I just don’t want any tension or buildup to be rushed or outright skipped. But I have zero doubt that the animation will be beyond legendary though!
That's what I'm saying... I would be cool with 3 different 3 hour movies, if they need the time, even if I have to wait longer between releases. And yes, the animation is going to be insane!
movies isn't as rough on the animators than a TV series because your not dealing with multiple weekly deadlines and having to stay ahead as the show is airing. A movie is a singular project and that brings about a better and consistent production schedule. Its easier to pace and storyboard around one single film than a 24 episode series. Its a good move in terms of development.
2:50 I might be wrong here but I believe they announced the 3 movies specifically for the Infinity Caste Arc? Which is only the first part of the Final Battle Arc. There's still the Sunrise Countdown but I do not know if they will ultimately include that within those 3 movies. I can't imagine how they will manage to fit in all the major events in the last 2 arcs in just 3 movies. Agree with you here, they need to make each movie at least 120 minutes or longer.
Supposedly, they are wrapping up the entire show with these three movies, so I believe Sunrise Countdown is included: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq But yeah, as to how they will fit all of the material... they might need to make the movies 2.5 to 3 hours long, lol.
Oh really? It's from the acronym of U.F.O., so I didn't think it was that weird, lol. myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=472741 The only reason the Japanese say it as Yū-Fō-Te-Bu-ru is because they literally do not have a katakana character to write the phonetic pronunciation of the English "F" (i.e. But I say all that just to basically to say that I personally attest and firmly believe it was the studio's actual intention when creating their name to be pronounced like it would be in English (where they got their inspiration from): Yū-Eff-Oh-Tāy-Bull.
Everything I've read has said that these films are going to close out the entire series: www.nme.com/news/tv/demon-slayer-anime-to-conclude-with-film-trilogy-3771058 www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/demon-slayer-to-end-with-trilogy-of-theatrical-films/ar-BB1pajKq
I don't really know how to feel about the trilogy choice... My only concern is the audio. Here in italy we watched the mugen train first on streaming and then in theaters: the akaza's scream in the final moments with rengoku was hella scary in my headphones, it just went from right to left literally through my brain... But in the theater was so toned down and so weak that i was like "am i tripping or it was hella different at home?..."... But anyway, is ufotable, i know i will not be disappointed💪🏼
Oh that's so weird! I had no idea that it could be so different in the theater. I hope nothing is toned down, lol. And I'm excited because movie quality Demon Slayer is going to be so peak, I almost can't stand the hype, lol. And BRO, I still have to finish your paper. I've still got it, and am going to finish it soon, I promise!! Haha, I haven't forgotten!
@@DrewMalou OMG i was not expecting that at all😅😅... I really can't express in words how much i appreciate it🙏🏻... But for real, don't feel obligated in any way, it was already such an honor and a pleasure to have the possibility to share it with you!! Just keep doing your things and keep up the good work, i really enjoy it!!! P.s.: I don't have that much time now, but as soon as i finish to watch frieren i'll let you know my thoughts about it💪🏼
