Gizzards are a favorite of mine. Also, so crazy how much Jordan has grown since I started watching (being more vocal on thoughts/ideas). Glad you both are teaching him to not be afraid of different foods. I just bought a diakon radish from a local asian market to pickle as I'm trying to branch out and try new things. Very excited to learn and try new foods.

In Mauritius, it is really popular to have sauteed chicken gizzard and liver. Simply fry them with lots of garlic, ginger, fresh thyme, and a bunch of green chillies. We eat it by itself or with French baguette bread, I like mine with sriracha sauce for the extra spice.
My mother taught me to love fresh garden tomatoes by sprinkling sugar on it. Now, I use salted tomatoes with a meal, and tomatoes with sugar for dessert or a snack!! I can never get enough during garden tomato season. I refuse to eat hot house tomatoes in the winter.
Fried chicken is one of my favs for sure. Really crunchy, sticky honey garlic wings are my absolute favourite. My husband and I love to make baked chicken with salsa and melted cheese on top. It’s a really simple dish but so flavourful

Sungold cherry tomatoes are golden orange and taste the sweetest. Try that first, Jordan. If you want to. Warm off the vine. And I agree that cold tomato blended up is not the same as ketchup. I think K has vinegar and the tomato is cooked down to a thick paste. I cannot *wait* to see a ketchup taste test!!!!

My family and I love fried chicken. We like Popeyes and Kentucky but if you haven't tried Kroger's deli has really good fried chicken! Cheap, good and crunchity! 🐓 Now I want chicken! Might have to buy some tomorrow! Much love from Texas 💞
