What a FANTASTIC and BEAUTIFUL find man. Keep up the amazing work. Wow brother, you should be very highly grateful and excited. You did an amazing job. I am so excited and happy for you brother. Great job.
Hey Silverpicker. I'm not from the US and so not an expert on US coins but after 25 years of coin collecting, I'm going to give it a try at grading those halves; 1827 VF, 1830 nearly VG and 1836 close to VF. I consider my grading to be relatively conservative and I know that US current grading standards are quite generous in comparison. All in all, you should have about $400 worth there. I'm afraid the Austrian pieces are the most common dates, worth only a few bucks a piece. Keep it up!
Those are some very nice coins. I agree that it's a good idea to hold onto the $2 1/2 Indian head coin. I love the beauty of them but have been more of a silver investor until recently. I wish I could find some good deals like you.
hey i have been collecting coins for over 30 years and can tell you the value of most any american coin all is about condition and whether or not the coin has been cleaned or tampered with in any manner will tell the amount they r worth but the busted halves u have range in value from 23 to 36 each from good to fine condiotion same for the gold coins u have the 1929 eagle is from 170 to 220 depending on condition of coin hope this helps you thanks ray
Keep the Indian head gold coin SilverPicker you can make jewelry out of it later, sell the Russian one it's imperial before {1917} before they tossed the czar out and executed the family later, did not mention I collect sterling money clips too, have a Tiffany 1988 Exxon one with a silver dollar and Morgan dollar one but those are too common were you live you should have 10 of those collected by now.
Never mind, I just noticed your published date of 2013. If you have a price list send it anyway. You may be out of coins but I'm not out of collecting.
I have an 1893 Columbian Half Dollar in AU53-56 condition. By the way, if you still have any of these coins today, I was wondering if I could get one of those capped half dollars. Im more into trading than buying. I got a 1820 King George III half crown from The Great Britia
Hey there silver picker! Love your videos I watch them all the time!! I would definitely be interested in buying the Victoria 6 pence, the papal states coin, and also the Austrian Franz Joseph 1 corona coin and 10 kreuzer coin! If any of them are still up for sale I would be really interested in them! Thankyou!, And keep up the great work👍
nice finds bud.. those are some nice gold coins I don't have any in my collection but if you're selling them let me know well if not then good luck with them and keep doing what you doing buddy your friend from the Northeast Connecticut Billy
Oh some look like German Empire coins on first sight, but they are not. Reminds me I wanted to make a German Junk Silver episode on these :-D Did you go with all the knowledge about the coins to the sale or was it coincidence to get them?
TinfoilHatGirl The German coin is a so called 4/3 Taler or 1 Konvertionstaler , look right here: www.muenzkatalog-online.de/katalog/kategorien/kat_gal_1311.html
Why should you just sell your Gold coins? In my view, you should be keeping as much of the Gold & Silver that you can get your hands on. If you're keeping your savings primarily in paper monies, then you're likely making a mistake over the medium and long-term. I'd keep any good condition Gold & Silver I could get my hands on.
Seems you may have a Czar Nicholas II coin. He and his family were murdered...you may want to do lots of research on this, those coins may be worth more than you realize...DO NOT SELL UNTIL YOU FIND OUT ALL YOU CAN ABOUT THOSE COINS...
Lovely coins - I also collect coins/banknotes. Been collecting WW since the early 50's. Due to age/storage problems intending to sell some of my collection. If anyone interested pls let me know. Rgds law
I have replica's of those early style half dollar well replica? that's nothing special well these replica's come from Spain and where used as props in the 1960s in the spaghetti westerns that were filmed there in the mid to late 1980s you could still buy them in the area that those films where made in fact there was tons left of that stuff I bought fake 20 dollar gold pieces fake silver dollars fake confederate paper money and fake big size dollar bills these items were on a child's budget we went there on pretty much the last day of our vacation and I was 9 I had saved up money for 3 years to buy old coins in Spain and we found nothing but I also was and still am a big fan of the classic spaghetti western so when I got the chance of buying fake money from my faforite movies I jumped on it and spent all my savings and came home with a suitcase full of fake cash it's a great thing to get together with the guys and play poker spaghetti western style!
