To clarify, the "official" UI that works today is called gpt4all-chat and it is written in QT (uses native/QT widgets in an executable, not HTML/javascript or something like Electron). It's slightly confusing, because there is another project called gpt4all-ui which is the flask web application you showed. Right now they're putting priority on the QT app (gpt4all-chat) for some reason. Probably because it's more straightforward to make it plug and play for non-technical users.

i just installed Hermes and it is running super slow... is it suppose to do that or did i just do something wrong. it seems everything was downloaded to onedrive which only has 5gb and not my computer capacity? idk im not tech savvy... thats the only folder it would let me? do i have to get a separate file holder that not connected to onedriVe??? .... IDK

I have a question. As I understand it, the Vicuna is one of the best models. I would like to ask - is this model only in English? And Alpaca has many languages.If I use the Vicuna model in the Alpaca interface will there be many languages or not? And if you suddenly know how you can load "translator" models into Stable Diffusion, but only local ones and not online (Google, Deelp Baido, etc.), could you show how to do it? And one more thing, do you know the latest, quality "translator" models based on AI? I know "Helsinki"-and what is the difference between "bin" and "h5" and "ot" models? Or is it possible to insert a large model from Vicuna into this interface - GPT4ALL?

this might be a stupid question, but can this UI run vicuna or those other better models? the model that comes with it is abysmally bad. i couldn't find an option on the UI to swap models, so maybe i have to edit a file?

Can we custom train these models on our dataset. GPT 4 and Gpt3.5 turbo has this ability where for Q and A you can pass in bunch of pdf files and it creates embeddings and then those embeddings can be used to get the response of question asked from input documents you have passed in.Does this model also has similar capability.

Идея отличная. Тема актуальная. Но на данный момент не работает. Во-первых, хотелось бы найти установку оффлайн. Здесь, для того чтобы установить, необходимо скачать дополнительно 3 ГБ. Какой-то архив 0.1.0bin.7z У меня он скачивался в директории AppData\Local\cache\qt-installer-framework\ Можно как-то взять этот архив и установить на компьютер без интернета? Я не нашёл там exe файла. Компьютер у меня не слабый 16 Гб ОЗУ, но это программа сильно тормозит. Долго надо ждать пока ответит. Отвечает какую-то совершенно несвязную тарабарщину. Может на английском он отвечает лучше. Но судя с других комментариев, мягко говоря, не на много. Очень надеюсь, что подобные проекты все-таки доведут до ума. Было бы идеально встроить их в Word и другие Программы чтобы дополнительно не изобретать велосипед и людям было привычно пользоваться в связке с уже Использующимися функциями
