In today's episode we are visiting the homes of our hosts Abir and Marriyam in Ranchi to savour a hearty Jharkhandi Snack and Mughlai dishes respectively. Abir is a budding food blogger from the city and Mariyam is the co founder of a cloud kitchen named Cook N Bake.
On reaching Abir's home his mother treated us to jhal pitha and home made chocolate cake. The former one is a potato stuffed steamed rice flour dumpling that tasted great with kundrum chutney. From there we reached Mariyam's place to try the Ande ka Halwa and Mutton grail. But to our surprise the gracious family had prepared a huge Mughlai feast for us. For the starter there was kebab, for the main course there was mutton korma, mutton grail, stew etc and for dessert there was makhuti and ande ka halwa.
