I quit my my job as an RN last two years ago after almost 16 years in the field. It was not an easy decision, but life is too short to dread going to work everyday. No amount of money can buy real happiness, but friends I'm not asking you to resign from your job or abandon your business but be wise!

I made the same leap in December 2011. Having significant savings was essential since I was teaching myself a new skill set. I eventually closed my business in the summer of 2022 after fighting off pandemic scammers and thieves for 2+ years, but I didn't need it. They may have stolen and resold a few of my courses, but they cannot steal my skill set. Congratulations, I know you'll do great!

Congratulations to you Alisha!!!!! I took the leap in September of 2020 and left my corporate job (compliance analyst) of 30 years after stress and burnout. It was very scary but I am amazed this year will be 3 years and question why I waited for so long. I was very concerned about the insurance piece as well but decided to keep the insurance plan I had with the company, even though it is more out of pocket now that I am no longer an employee but I am managing it by the grace of God. When we let go and let God, he truly shows out.

God makes no mistakes!! I just did the same thing! Quit my job which I liked but the passion & fuel is no longer there. I’m emotional, it’s scary, idk what’s next but I’m still optimistic & hopeful for the greatness to come. I’m finally stepping into being an entreprenuer and doing what’s best for me. God has been pushing it in & from me as well. It’s new but it feels good at the same time. This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RU-vid channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 696 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Yay! So happy and excited for you 🙌🏾! I'm so inspired and encouraged. I left my corporate job 5 years ago to be a stay-at-home mom. Now that my daughter is in kindergarten, God has been nudging and pushing me to get back out there, but in such a different way than I could ever imagine. He's been saying the same thing - trust Me. I wish you the best in your journey. I have been wanting to quit for years but I need my health insurance and steady cash right now. I will say that so many RU-vidrs do it for freedom. It's become commonplace. It's gonna be tough for those who never worked in the workforce to know how to function at a job. You are smart and yes you can always start working again in the job market if needed. Keep walking by faith. Sales is a burnout high stress job so congrats for dropping the weight of it.

I saw the title and had to take the listen! I just put in my notice for my last day to be 2/15/23. I am scared beyond scared, especially in this economy. And whether you know it or not, He has been preparing you for this opening. When God opens that door and we walk through by faith, believing God, and once you follow in God’s direction, no one or nothing can shut that down but God. I quit my job in 2020- to retire after 16 years of teaching to be a full time housewife and mom. I work from home with the family business driving sales and marketing. This is so great. I had to adjust to having NO SCHEDULE..except the one I create. Congrats to you !

I’m happy for you Alisha. You said so many things that resonated with me. I’ve been wanting to quit my job for a long time and do my own thing. I’ve checked out long ago and before I started working from home but working from home has kept me hanging in this job. I stated working from home king before the pandemic. My job pays well but I do feel like the comfort of working from home and good pay has kept me tied to this job. I’m happy for you stepping out there. I’m gonna focus on doubling my income this year and see what that will do as far as taking that leap.
