Building his empire arpund Prospero. This was so bad the Grey knights and the Dark Angels teamed up to send a strike-team. This stopped the ritual, but was beaten with heavy losses and Magnus secured his position in Real Space. That is something!

To be fair, the Tau have no real warp protection. These 1kson automatons are likely heavily warded and powered my magic as opposed to true cybernetics.

Wait you forgot about the wolf book, where the wolf guard, and the wolf priest were worried the wolf time not happening so they went to the non-wolf planet (Prospero) with the wolfen who stopped a Magnus plot by… let me check my notes. “The Blood Claw Loki the trickster tricked magnus with his brilliant trickery of being a tricky wolf and quite drunk.” Man Magnus really gets done dirty since he came back.

1) If I recall the Nexus abilities can also be reversed where it boost Psychic energy, Thousand Sons may not know about it at the time but if they do find out going to hit this place extra hard. 2) Magnus did things in the Psychic Awakening where he tried to boost up Psykers and fought Dark Angels & Grey Knights. So he could also continue that plan/story now with the Psyker booster. 3) Those Automana would be cool, I did honestly think we would see them get a 30K/HH model in a 40K version this setting but was looking more at Khentani. 4) I wonder if this will mean the Thousand Sons will be the first of Mono-God Chaos Space Marine factions to be added.

Castellax-Achaea are some of the best models in the 30k HH range, would be great to have corrupted versions, shame that this doesn't hint at osiron/psychic dreadnoughts though since presumably they too would be affected by the nexus.

i truly hope they give us fans an epic conflict between powerful characters like the final book of arks of omen. Also interested in how can Vashtorr (a daemon) can operate in an area of space where the warp is still, how can he even be present in there and not banished back to the warp in an instant or over time at least

I think it’s because Vashtorr is actually a C’Tan shard (possibly of the Void Dragon) that got banished to the Warp and was tainted by its influence. We do know that the Imperium has done that before.

Personally, I love the new Tsons range in Legions. They feel really unique, as opposed to before where it was “put as many psychic units on the board as possible, and hope that your opponent isn’t Sisters of Silence or Space Wolves”.

I havent been paying a lot of attention to 40k but has the Lion met Gman YET? What the actual hell is going on over at the Black Library? Did they have to do re-writes? Was some major event cancelled or altered?
