Don't apologise for 300+ videos, apologise that you can't promise 300 more. You're a stalwart regarding Spurs for every single fan, keep doing what you're doing
@@AlasdairGoldjournalistToo right Ali, but you might need to be careful in case a certain so-called Spurs fan (and blogger) labels you a Levy apologist and a Yes man. 😂😂😂😂COYS
Don't be so exited . They are just perspective youngsters and nothing more. We had plenty of these before Sessegnon ,Gil, Spence, Parrot ,Nusa,Orban. I don't rate them until they have real 1st liga impacts and results. Mbapee when he was at 18 old already was 3th goalscorer of Liga 1 that's a deal. Only real results mate.
@@kubanaid5960 wdym don't be so excited 😭 I was excited for those players at the time but it was a shame they got blighted by injuries/couldn't do it in the prem. Have faith in these players.
@@tom4115 its realistic perspective. It's good for the club yeah we need young prospects for the future. And we all know it's more like a roulette game. I'm also expecting first team impact signings.
Re: the exercise Bergvall was doing - the exercise is called a Nordic Curl, although the players were only doing the eccentric phase of the movement. It's not primarily a core exercise, it's an isolation exercise for the hamstrings. His performance is pretty good, for sure, but if you look up some RU-vid videos of people performing Nordic Curl Eccentrics, you'll see it's really nothing particularly surprising.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we really appreciate you Ali taking your time out of your day to make these videos and talk to us your amazing thank you. On another note I really think an Archie/ Bergvall and Maddison or Devine line up and maybe in the future Maddison goes the the left (possibly) either way really amazing line up and the bench quality would be amazing Sarr, Bentencur, Biss, Deki.
Congrats on all your very informative and therapeutic videos, Aly! Also just noticed you almost reach 60k subscribers, you could almost fill Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with them! Great stuff as always 👏👏🥳
Congratulations on 312 videos-thanks for your dedication, Alasdair! Looking forward to seeing Bergvall and Gray on the pitch! I must admit, I felt sad that Vertongen’s retirement from international football ended on a low point. He’ll always be Super Jan to me!
Didn't just score, but shifted rabiot and a much lauded Sadiba (10yrds behind) both out of the way, with one tidy shimmy to make room for the shot. Beautiful goal, surely the goal of the tournament so far, arguably player of the tournament
300+ videos. Congratulations on your milestone Ali! Looking forward to pre-season. The club's current crop of young players is incredibly exciting. I can't wait for the season ahead. Cheers Ali!
Looking forward to another 300 videos Ali. We as fans are very lucky. Probably the first time you’ve been away and nothings happened. Training videos gave me excitement for the season to start though. Hope you’re well
"Advanced Negotiations" ooh you tease Alasdair 🤣. Great news about the sponsorship and the fact you've produced over 300 great videos. Many thanks for all your hard work, it is very much appreciated.
Ange, doing a Devid Bellamy in the car park while peeping through some potted plants... " And here comes the Bergvall, a cat native to a grass pitch in Sweden.. a tricky, nocturnal cat that is comfortable roaming around during the day too" 😂
The exercise you talked about with Bergvall is called a Nordic Curl. Bergvalls was good but Archie Grays was even better, he kept his hips fully extended which is super difficult to do.
In regards to the naming thing. I think it does make sense in an odd way. Imagine a foreigner going to a concert or game they don’t care about. The emirates kinda weird Google just an airline. Tottenham hotspur interesting name and oh it’s a team.
The floating head is back 😂 trippy 😵💫😵💫😵💫. Big up Ali we love your vids I even watch old ones sometimes just to remind me of poch days for example. 300 and counting EHYYYYY 👍🏻
Yes Ali, been looking forward to this. I'm actually going to the Tottenham Vs Bayern Munich game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, me and my family. Can't wait to see our new look team. Thank you as always. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
no to naming rights! keep spurs authentic. naming your stadium 'the emirates' devalues arsenal's brand. it's not the only 'Emirates' stadium. so, not very special. can you imagine 'the easyjet liverpool stadium', verses what 'Anfield' means to the culture and brand of Liverpool FC? or how about 'The McDonalds Centre Court' at Wimbledon? please Spurs. stay with your current policy and don't pollute our brand. The Tottenham Hotspur stadium is a great name for a fantastic stadium.
Top priority for Spurs from before last season started , was and still is , a top focal point central striker that could replace most of Kane's goals , no more wingers , or forwards that can play across the front line needed , end of .
Ali, we’ve been here since the days of 20 minute videos 😂 I can’t believe you crammed so much information in such a short space of time… these 45 min to an hour plus videos do just fine 🙌🏿 to another 350 episode my good sir 🥂 👌🏿
In regards of Sonny speaking of fan reception he played a game of football in a small park. Word spread so fast over 2 thousand fans showed up unexpectedly 😅. Police had to come to the rescue. Congrats on 300 videos truly my favorite videos to watch for all things tottenham!
Hi Alistair. If the English game went back to the old way, were only 2 over seas players are allowed, do you not think the English game would fall of the cliff
I'm late with my comment but thank you Alisdair for all of your contributions. Your videos have been the highlight of my many midnight snacks before bed hahah
video i have been looking forward to.300 videos done crazy to think. Was watching Mr Gold from his first video. Shows what good honest content can do. Its been a blessing that Spurs didn't have much players in the Euros. Yeah sure Spurs have 3 in the copa America but Spurs have most of their main players their to train and work together. The cash boost is another master class form Levy. He has ran the club so well despite how some fans have booed him protest against him. He has kept his head and he will keep doing so. The one thing that Spurs will never face is being looked at for FFP. Spurs are one of the best run clubs in the world and that's down to Levy and Enic. Enic and Levy aim was to make sure Spurs had strong foundations and this is being seen now. Looking forward to seeing Lucas play.
@@AlasdairGoldjournalist it's been good. Like I wrote your the only journalist an Spurs video analistst I watch on RU-vid. Also a mature calm head. Others scream and shout and act up. Look forward to another 300.
Congrats on the 300! Watching you bemoan the inevitable disappointments throughout the seasons have been such a solace. I daresay you’ve been our quantum of solace. Here’s to 300 more, albeit with better outcomes, but I won’t bank on it 😅
Always enjoy watching your video (and enjoy learning to listen to english.), Mr. Gold. May i know if theres any updates regarding Troy Parott? Seems he was in the training ground last week, but no longer there this week. Is he joining the pre-season journey? Thank you and support you all the time🙌🏻
Hi Ali, haven’t had a chance listen to all of your 300th video. But have been reading some of the comments, and I couldn’t agree more with the praise you have received. And I also hope you carry on doing so for many more episodes.(Unless Spurs - or God does for us both instead). So Congratulations on reaching this milestone, and thanks again for all that you do.(Including seemingly reading every comment and replying to as many as possible). COYS 😊👍👌🌟
You talk about tourneys affecting our signings, aren't most of our targets eliminated/don't have tournaments to begin with though? Doue is not in the EUROs, while Neto was eliminated last week right
Thank you for the video, Alasdair. I'm interested to see if Ange decides that any of the young players in preseason like Veliz, Donley, Devine, etc are worthy of a place in the squad. I'm guessing that Mikey Moore and Tyrese Hall will have places, but maybe one of the other young players proves a point. On Desire Doue, it seems he is included in the France Olympic squad. He is an amazing talent, but I wonder if the Olympics would affect any potential deal for him. Look forward to seeing how Spurs operate in the next week.
Massive congratulations Ali. I remember the dark days of sports journalism when it was mostly United/Liverpool fans/pundits reporting on Spurs news. Newer fans don't know how good they have it now. Side note, it would be great if you could post an itinerary of your travel plans for the calendar year on January 1st so that we know when to expect incoming transfers.
Loads of people seem to be upset by the Timo re-loan so naturally he’s become my fave player On the leaning training scenario I watched that, I can also do that, I’m a track runner and play football (Not soccer but our football)takes a lotta strength
Hey Ali, the test you were referring to is actually a test of hamstring strength. A really good sign for hamstring injury prevention. Love the videos, thanks.
@@AlasdairGoldjournalist loved Dier acting as his “minder” on the pitch and felt very sorry for Eric when the news broke about Dele and how gutted Eric was that he hadn’t known and been able to help, I really wish that group had got some silverware to help cement them in the history of the club.
I watch the video in question I found it extremely informative and interesting. Tottenham unless we find a super rich owner will always be a club that has to generate its own revenue in order to compete at the level of clubs that have untold wealth. We see with Chelsea and these richer backed clubs they are finding ways round and navigating past the PSR and FFP issues. I know we would all like to see Tottenham go out and pay 80/90/100 million for world’s top players but it’s just not realistic. As frustrating as Levy can be I do think he has the clubs interest at heart. Once in a while as in Eze I think the fans just want him to make a statement and slap the money down instead of pussyfooting around trying to save a few million it would endear him to the fans so much more. We are growing our finances year on year we are already generating the most money of all the London clubs which in itself is a great accomplishment. With Ange we have great football and the model of buying youth and supplementing them into the first team is in my opinion the best option for Tottenham. This is the first time in a long time we seem to have a plan. It’s going to take patience but Rome wasn’t built in day
I think we're on the right course. If we build sustainably and can get back to regularly finishing in CL spots and then start making a serious challenge for the league, the prize money we get from that will enable us to aim a bit higher. We're also midway through a serious rebuild and it's more important to improve the overall quality of the squad, especially the bench, than to spend astronomical sums on single players.
I really enjoyed the business podcast actually and I kind of think he’s explaining how they’re “ trying to compete “ against state owned clubs. This is why I want us to keep buying young and play them all for better or worse to accelerate the project.
