Hey babes 💕 make sure you open the description for links to everything I bought! I listed eeeeverrything! Let me know if I missed something & I’ll get right on it! I hope you enjoy!
@@bayans.1759 A New Day Black Square Backpack, Target might be sold out of the black, but I just ordered one from Mercari. Just Google it and I'm sure you'll find one.
I start on the 7th and got a full paid scholarship via Baptist Hospital! I’m so stoked 🙌🏽 Congrats to all nursing students and good luck ♥️ See you all on the other side 👩⚕️👨⚕️
I’m excited for you✨👩🏾⚕️My baby sis is about to start her DNP. Both of us went from LPN to ADN then BSN. She completed her MSN in September. I stopped at BSN & I’m ready to retire. Loved the haul!🌺💫
How did I just find you?! You're literally a whole vibe! I have like 9 tabs open of your videos I'm about to binge. Girl, your channel is a whole YES 💕
The Saunders book is literally the Bible for nursing school !!! I’m wishing you the best can’t wait to follow your journey and yay to the happy planner stickers !!! I am the same way lmbo. I also use that same clipboard for work now it’s great !! And i use that same book bag for school also in green !!
Good luck girl!!! I’m in my last semester of my RN program, just remember that it’s difficult but not impossible. A wise word as well: it’s absolutely wonderful that you’re so driven and goal oriented! However please don’t feel discouraged or like you aren’t capable if you can’t handle the BSN prereqs on top of nursing classes. The nursing classes are A LOT between lecture, clinical, and busy work (because nursing school is full of busy work tbh). My personal advice would be to wait until your last semester when you’re precepting to start your BSN classes. I had to take an additional class on top of my nursing classes last semester and I was MISERABLE lol. I had 18 credit hours on top of working part time. While I’m giving out my unsolicited advice: The Evolve Adaptive Quizzing questions are good, when you get closer to graduation Uworld is really good for NCLEX prep. NRSNG (now nursing.com) is AWESOME for studying, I highly recommend. Obviously ask lots of questions if you don’t know an answer. Don’t act cocky if you have prior experience (I’m not saying you will but a ton of people do, I’m guilty too), remember this is a totally new position. I know personally it was difficult for me to adjust to being an RN since I have been a CNA in the hospital I did the majority of my clinicals in, I wanted to cling to SOMETHING I was familiar with lol.
THANK YOU SO MUCH 💕 as far as the BSN classes, they will be taken during the summer(I have summer breaks with the nursing program) so instead of enjoying my summer fully I may pop one or two classes in, depending on how I feel. But of course, I will see how I feel once I’m in the program. & I’ve heard great things about Uworld for studying for the NCLEX! I will definitely remember all of this advice, thank u so much AGAIN ❤️
Dominique Dooley ohhh okay! That’s really awesome y’all get a break! We go straight through, that would definitely be perfect then. You’re so welcome though!!❤️
You have yourself a new subbie. First thing first I love your video's. I am a 4 year LPN. RN starts for me in april 2020. So excited! And btw you never know I've had 3 stethoscopes because these nurses be stealing stealing sis!
hey girl, welcome 💕 April will be here sooner than you know, you’ll do GREAT! & I’ve heard the horror stories 🥴 I keep mines around my neck or in my pants pocket! It’s always great to distinguish it too with something that can’t come off! Like the little name tag I got from Etsy is sooo hard to take off!
I have the same book bag ! Lol this my 2nd school year having it, I love it . This is the first time, a target book bag I’ve brought lasted over 1 school year .
Ugh!!! So happy to hear that! I hate buying new bags every year especially when they’re $30 and up! My PINK bag has lasted me about 3 years now & that was $50! Love the quality!
Yes girl I am the same way with planners... literally my life👌🏽. I start nursing school next week..🥺😭 I hope I’ll be able to keep up with it on my channel too! Any advice??💕
Omg 💕 yessss! My biggest tip is to just do good in all your prerequisite classes, especially the science based classes! Try to have a high GPA in college (shoot for a 3.5 and above!) Also, really focus in your science based classes like anatomy & microbiology because it will alllll come right back around in nursing school! Nursing school is competitive, so definitely stand out on your application! ✨ I have a video called “how to get accepted into nursing school & boost your chances.” If you want to take a look, it has all my tips! 🩺
@@DominiqueDooley 😁I actually learned a lot, like that nursing is a really long career path and that stethoscopes are expensive or is it just me that didn't know? 🤔
I would start closer to the time that your going to be taking it; moreso in the middle of pre-reqs! This way your not new to the material. I started to study for the HESI in the middle of me taking my pre-reqs so i wasn't too early where everything looked foreign & not too late to where I was completely finished my pre-reqs & just now opening the HESI book. I hope this helped! 💗
@@DominiqueDooley I followed your advice and I’m starting to study now. I’m giving myself enough time to retake if I have to. Also is your bsn program online? I’m looking into ADN programs if I don’t get into a BSN but I’d like to graduate w both of them at the same time.
I’m not sure, I haven’t seen anyone try so I’m assuming not. I personally would not bc of the holes. I’m almost 99.5% it’s against my schools policy though lol
