Cool video, unlucky run! You always cheer me up a lot, thanks so much for the feedback and nice bug found at the end, I really gotta hotfix that. Omg no wonder I got "randomly" hit in the mandragora fights! I never noticed the spikes on the floor and thought the game became way harder after the update.

They added a new npc to tavern that sells bombs for 5g btw, it’s the miner dude who spawns in the bottom left near entrance

Ok so since we got an update it seems we have more terraria references. Yep, that’s right, I’m back! So basically it seems the enchant system uses terraria’s modifier system but instead uses some accessory mods for weapons, bc I’m assuming equipment can’t have mods. It also seems to change up some stats for balancing reasons of course.(violent isn’t attack speed but just straight up damage) With that said I would like to see if there is a new npc in the tavern for reforging items like the goblin tinkerer does in terraria. Edit: there does seem to be a npc for it tho not a reference like half the other npcs in there. And either sifd got lucky or it does not scam you as much as the tinkerer does.

I think if the red eye was static above your head like the optional health/dash bars it would be ok but yeah with it following you around like that it seems pretty distracting. Maybe if you have it on for the whole run you'd get used to it though.

Ascencion is great and all, but losing everything on the 1st one? Damn. it should be, like, half and in about 5th one or something, otherwise it would just make all the grind pretty much irrelevant. I mean, what are souls for then? Its useless at that point. Oh, maybe use a huge load of souls to "delete" the ascencion curse of your choice? Random is good and all, but it would just be in the way of fun. The hardcore players can just turn it off if they want. Would be better if the 1st ascencion curse would add the 2nd phase to the bosses on 1st ascencion, instead of it being a feature from start? Heck, 1st of those should always be trivial things like maybe add a chance for enemy to blow up, maybe spike up prices a bit, stuff like that.
