I just commented like a month ago saying you should start sewing piggy stuff, glad you’re doing it! I find it so relaxing and I love the feeling of making my boys’ stuff myself and watching them use it! There are very few YT videos out there of this so I love that you are giving it a go! Amazon sells some great sets of those clips you got with your cutting mat set and they come with larger ones which work a lot better holding such thick layers together
MAJOR yes on the sewing videos for me. I wanted to make my own stuff for my pigs when I got them 2 years ago and I have a massive box of fleece and padding in my closet along with my sewing machine and i never got around to it. I’m moving soon and hoping I’ll have the space to make my own things then.
i love that you are starting to make the liners for your piggies! i would also recommend making hammocks for your rats its really easy and fast! also i love all of the spooky fabric

I completely am on that same level of making things for my animals. I have 5 cats and I love to crochet mats for them to sleep on, we put them in high places to get them something nice to sleep on. We brought some but I think I enjoy and save money doing it myself. We also have a dog she now 1. Because she’s a small dog I make her jumpers via crochet or knitting. I make little collars for her to wear in the house. I customise her harness with flowers I crochet. My partner also informed me we are getting a new little puppy of the same breed and given me the task of making her a matching soft collar, jumper etc as our current baby. I love him so much he knows just how to make me happy. I’m so excited to pick her up on Thursday. She’s almost 10 weeks old. (Just want to say we have rescued animals, we don’t always go for breeders. One of our current cats is a rescue. He is deaf and came from horrid circumstances. We got him at 8 weeks and nearly lost him. Our vet worked her magic and he is now 4 and big and healthy and doing wonderful despite being deaf and having sensitive kidneys.)

I have worked with the sewing machine you have so I have a few tips 1. Invest in heavy duty needles 2. Buy Schmetz needles they are cheaper and better quality 3. Change the needle after a big project 4. Singer machines don’t last long I recommend investing in a janome one their brand is more ethical and high quality 5. Buy more of those sewing clips they are amazing! 6. Make more potty pads than you need and make 1 by 2 liners instead of using another 2 by 4
Oooh cant wait to see all the Halloween stuff together! I'm new to fleece and I don't have a sewing machine so I made a couple liners using yarn to sew the edges. Haven't used them yet but 🤞 they work well and last long bc like you said, liners are sooo expensive😅
I wish I had enough money to buy all the fun stuff for my pigs! So cute! I I go to my local farm store to buy a Timothy bale for only $12, it’s always green and beautiful! I suggest you go and see if you can find something like that in your area! I save a LOT every year! ❤️😊
I don’t have space to buy a whole bale and I also prefer to buy treated hay :) untreated hay can have little mites and things I’d rather avoid the best I can lol

I just made liners with that cat pumpkin print! As soon as I saw it I knew I had to get it XD Glad to know someone else is decorating their cage Halloween all year, too lol
So this May sound weird but cloth diapers are made with absorbent materials on the inside and I wonder if something like organic bamboo would be good for the inner part of the liners? It is highly absorbent especially the more it’s washed.

I know this is an older video, but I'm curious as to how you got your eyebrows to match your hair color. Did you die your eyebrows too? Or do you use a a colored eyebrow pen/pencil to match the hair color?
Love ur hair its grown so much already idk if thats your natural color or not but I love the color you should keep it.I also got an ikea doll bed for 9 dollars on eBay and they said it was bought then their pet died so they didn't have a chance to use it but I disinfected it just to be safe.
