Huge plant haul from Thailand Asean Plant Export. Is it worth it?
I ordered my plants in September, and my package arrived exactly 1 month after in October, so I'm very happy with the fast shipping! But how's the quality of the plants? Watch and find out!

Shocking, not only refund your money, they should compensate you for such bad packing! You should "out" this seller. THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS???

absolutely agree with you. We all understand that shipping will cause some damage to the plants. However, the packaging is horrible!!! The plants could arrive in much better condition if the seller did a better job in packaging. I will still give 2/10 to this seller, maybe 3/10 the most. My heart is broken by watching this video.

Yeah, I'm pretty angry. Please tell the name of the shop so others won't buy from them! Also, send a complaint saying everything that was wrong with it,, the packaging mainly by the looks of it!! >:/

This is exactly how my order from them looked. My plants were very small and immature.....resulting in rot, or dried up plants. I emailed them and they basically told me that this is what I should expect from imported plants. Not true as I have imported many plants that were packaged much better and arrived in good condition. After several emails back and forth they did give me a partial refund on the plants but not on shipping. I ended up with 2/7 plants. I ordered a Thai constellation which they said was out of stock but was in stock when I ordered it. I was not happy either. This is their business international shipping.❤️✌🏻🌱🍃🌿🌵

Beside poor packaging you bought plants and some of them haven been rooted, how you can be happy after all? Your first impression was accurate.

This is rough. Why would they send unrooted plants? They didn’t even have a slight chance of surviving such a long trip.

Jolene! You are too nice!!! You deserve a refund. You should have received roots on these plants and they were not packaged well at all. I wish you luck on these. Thanks for the review, I will not be purchasing from them anytime soon.

When you order they put in an order from their seller and then it gets ship to them and they ship out the plant when the plant has already been traveling. They don’t acclimate the plant.

I imported from Asean Plant Export last year and NEVER AGAIN! All plants came poorly packaged, rattled around freely in the box, and the juvenile pink princess I ordered has yet to give me a speckle of pink one year later. I'm pretty sure they scammed me and just gave me a red emerald!!

I had a very similar experience from them. Most of my plants were dead and no roots and 4/12 were missing . I got a partial refund. The ignored my emails too.

LOL. Complete 180 at the end of the video. I’m glad you’re still happy with your purchase in the end. But at the very least, they should give you a partial refund given their shoddy packing. 😊

You paid for 12 plants, not 8.. you're too nice about this. It would be understandable that some didn't make it if they took all measures to ensure they would survive the journey, but they did a poor job with that, showing they didn't care how the plants actually reached you. I would never order from these people, they feel like scammers.

Haha, I was just going to comment on how beautiful your hair was in this video ✨! It looks like a beachy windswept wave !! On the other hand, so sad about the plants 😭 my heart 💔 Edit: 4:44 omg a tassel fern!! I love them so much, one day I hope to get one! Fun fact, even though it's called a fern, it's not a fern at all, it's a kind of fir-moss/fir club-moss! They're amongst the most ancient land plants around today :) good luck 💞🌱

Asean Exports and their affiliates (they have tons of front websites) are notoriously horrible IF you even get your plants :/ Sorry they came in such poor shape

It is pretty bad. I haven’t seen good import videos from Asia. Personally, I wouldn’t import plants even if I live in USA. Plants need time to acclimate. Asian & USA are very different climate. I’ve seen good import from Russia. I know they are super cheap and all. I guess they cost a fraction of what you normal pay.

I ordered from them last year and they sent me half of the plants I ordered. When I contacted them, they said oh we only didn't include one of the plants. So, I said why are there half of the plants in the box? And even if that is true, why wasn't I refunded for the plant I didn't order? They took weeks to respond to me even with repeated emails and I finally got refunded for the one plant (not for the other 5 that were missing). Will never order from them again.

I’ve seen more negative than positive reviews for this company. They also don’t offer effective customer service based on their IG comments so I’ve made a mental decision to purchase from other sellers.

A permit is needed. Not just a cert. Due to pandemic problems, all shipments are delayed.

My regular plumeria was wrinkly looking like that and I just potted it in a pot and it dropped the leaves but eventually gave me new leaves. I left it in southern light in VA and it came back to life

They clearly don’t care about their plants bc I’ve had Hoya from Russia in the mail for a month. In a dark box for A MONTH and I lost 1 leaf out of 4 plants! It’s crappy care. Also most imports are sent to Miami customs maybe that’s why it had a Florida address. I’ve also heard horror stories from this company.

I’ve ordered fro them twice. First time was about two years ago. Plants were great! Second time was about 8 months ago. They all looked like this. I complained with pictures and they refund about half my money. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I know that feeling when your very expensive plants arrive dead. I have two plumerias which I purchased four years ago. They go through a period of dormancy as soon as the temperature drops. They lose all their leaves, at which point I stop watering them until spring arrives. As soon as it gets warmer I bring them outside where they spend the whole summer. They grow a lot during the summer months.

The plumaria is what we call Frangipani in Australia, from my experience if u put it in soil it will still be fine. We have them everywhere in our area and i have had even cut branches survive for months out of soil just lying on the ground and they grow absolutely fine when planted, they also like very bright light, many of mine grow in the full sun all summer long and they grow better than the ones i have inside, i wish u luck with all ur new plants

I respect that you are a reasonable buyer. People have such a sense of entitlement these days, but they need to understand that importing has risks and plants can get damage/die, and its not always the sellers fault. ❤️💋 You are fair play. 💐

Ordered rare plants from us. Was in post more than 6 weeks. Recieved in perfect condition as seller take time to properly package them with lot of spargum moss. In the time of travel cutting gave roots. So no danger in international buying, danger in in unresponsable sellers who don't care about how you recieve your plant....
