Out of all the YT car projects I’m watching right now I think this wagon is my favorite. An amazing color and so crisp & clean. I’m a fifth generation house painter and novice at home panel beater so I’m a bit a “paint nerd”.
You absolutely smashed it mate !!! what a transformation. It's great to hear the old engine roar back into life as well. Can't wait till the next update 👍🏽 cheers
She’s looking a treat mate. Awesome job building it yourself and making that much progress in a month. Wish I had your mad skills! Luv your attention to detail too, things like the Allen head bolts. Cheers.
Nice work once again and massive progress Nothing like fitting up new Stainless button-head socket screws and washers and gold passivated everything..lol.
Just watched all the vids on this, she's lookin good. I think gloss black parts go with pretty much any colour. I'm reassembling my 808 sedan after being painted red, not a big dollar build but looks OK. I'm using a lot of gloss black exterior parts, RX-3 tail lights, pointy nose grille & head light surrounds. Just finished refitting all the door window regs, locks & rubbers etc. I had a yellow 323 wagon years ago but it just sat down the back yard and I eventually sold it.
Awesome worth the wait, keep up the great work its been fun watching this build and the colour will really pop when its on the road in the sun. Yeah you cant rush things too much cause you want the car to run nice otherwise it will be sitting and not being driven and enjoyed. 👍👍
You've done all that in a month! Fark me! And while having to do your paying jobs too! That's impressive! You're a machine :P And here's me sitting on my arse watching RU-vid, haha :D The car is looking fookin good though, can't wait to see it all finished and on the road :) Helped a mate years ago build a HJ Panel Van, he was a panel beater too, got rid of all the gutters and smoothed out the body, won quite a few trophies with it, and despite entering it into shows, wasn't shy in driving it. He replaced all the bolts with Allen key stainless bolts too, they just add that nice bit of detail to it :)
awesome stuff phil! reminds me of my old green 323 wagon, wasnt a bug eye tho.. should do painted silver bumpers and door handles.. always looks tough compared to chrome or black..
Yea man great progress! Just would be picky on the bonnet even after applying filler, can still see some dents but better than what it was is the angle we're going for here
Loving the quick progress and how straight it looks considering the dents in every panel. how would the engine look with green and black accessories i wonder? wrinkle red seams a bit wrong unless there's other red bits inside. glad Jay from Low Standards shared your channel, i can feel your excitement of how it's coming along too.
The wagon is looking great man. I like that you went for such an in your face colour. Btw, check your 'other' messages on fb when you get the chance because I've sent you some since I can't add you.
