This Looks a stunning place to be custodians of. The entire town are custodians as well as the rest who are patrons. Keep this building alive.

Back in 1987, we travelled to Junee on a school trip from Newcastle, we were in year 6. We stayed in this pub, spent a week here spending a lot of time up at the Monte Christo when it was in full swing. Reg Ryan was the publican at the time.... Best week of our lives. will never forget.

Great job . Australia doesn't have a long history since settlement like other countries but it is important that we maintain a link with our past. The couple that are the new custodians of this hotel are doing a great job. Well done you.

Some very deep pockets needed as there restricted by Heritage Laws as to everything done, its an honourable venture sadly most people don't fully realise how hard renovating & running a pub is like plus the never ending amounts of money outlays that must happen and many quit ... hopefully they can get support from the locals to make this happen as Pubs like these are far & few between...

Just found this channel. Love it being a pommy bastard just love a local pub anywhere. These shitty gastro pubs ain't worth shit! No atmosphere. Not many proper pubs left anymore, your local. I'm 57 now I have no time for silly ideas or manners of younger men, who ain't lived . Give me the company of the old contancarous ? Old bastards any day of the week. At least you will have a laugh might cost a few pints and get insulted.well worth it 👍

There’s an old town pub in Trundle NSW, the only pub in town, there’s always new owners and they never do this huge pub up properly or even to a full restoration, the town boasts the widest road in the southern hemisphere due to the old Bullocks running through the town and holds the annual Abba Festival. The Council recently started picking the town up a bit and is starting to look really lovely. I really hope one day someone with a bit of cash brings this pub to a full restoration. The Rabbit Trap Hotel is only a town and a half away from this location with Tullamore also having a pub and an annual Irish Festival.. and then another pub only 20km from the Rabbit Trap, in Tottenham. If only there were more tourist attractions in these small towns, we’d see more action!
