Puals Fur-baby, Mr Misty is a HUGE RAGdoll kitty. He's the most chill, sweet and awesome cat ever. We're blessed to have such an awesome friend like Paul and his kitty Misty living in our guest house 4 yrs now.

Paul was in the hospital waiting to go into a care facility after his stroke/bouts with short term memory...he was having to give up his cat and share a room in some horrible place...someone called us asking if we'd take Paul in for a few days until he was placed. So he was a total stranger before then and stayed in our home. We didn't want to place anyone in the guest house....was just using it for when family came...but after getting to know Paul and knowing he was having to give up his beloved pet, he told us while tears streaming down his cheeks...and THAT tugged at our hearts... He didn't have money for much of a care facility, and not enough to pay for an apartment or much of anything. Rentals around here are off charts expensive/ But we offered the apartment for him at very reduced rate, but just for a few weeks. That was over 5 yrs ago...Paul is like a brother to us and he was beyond elated having his beloved cat living with him. Misty is most perfect cat ever! The carpets were new, so...but its been great. My husband takes care of Pauls financial affairs, and Paul helps pays for his food and partial rent/utilites... so its a perfect fit all way around except I'm busy keeping two hungry men fed!
My Ragdoll (in the pic) is almost 2 now. He’s a seal point. He’s also big and also has to be groomed BUT he’s a mean boy. He a bitey boy and even bites to show love. I hope he becomes as loving as Mr. Misty when he’s older.
We have a Seal Point Ragdoll named Bugsey Malone...and he is true to his name. He was the sweetest kitty UNTIL he had his vaccinations (second ones)...and it affected him...he hid for 3 days...i couldn't find him ANYWHERE until i moved the hanging clothes around and is where he was hidden. He wouldn't come out for anything. He was shaking and very skiddish and years later, nothings changed. He's afraid of everyone except me and stays hidden ALL day long except for early mornings. The vet agree's he's one in a million who's vaccine injured....is very rare, but it happens....nothing we can do about it. My granddaughter loves Bugsey and she's begging me to let her have him...not sure if thats whats best for my Buggars. BUT...the breeder has more kittens available at Christmas. angelicaragdolls.com/
@@ZeldaZelda-RichesToRags wow you got me thinking now because when my Milo got his first leukemia vaccine he had a bad reaction and developed a high fever and looked as if he was going to pass. I had to take him right away to the vet and they gave him medicine to cure him. I’m wondering if maybe his temperament has anything to do with that. Thank you
What a beautiful animal! My mother-in-law had a Maine Coon that was fluffy like that, and all you wanted to do was pet her, but she was mean as a pit viper! At least you can enjoy Mr. Misty. Good boy! 🥰
Very beautiful cat, but I’m sorry to say that’s not a ragdoll. Looks like some sort of Maine Coon mix, especially with its large size? Anyways super adorable cat but almost positive that isn’t one of the types of ragdoll
Both parents to Mr Misty are registered Ragdolls with this coloring. The Breeder is Angelica RagDolls in Bend Oregon...you can see the registration, Mistys mom/dad on their website. Ragdolls come in various coloring, EXCEPT BLACK.colors. With many combination and verity of patterns and colors, the ragdoll can be a breathtaking choice to choose from! The acceptable standards by TICA are: Seal, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac, Cream, Tortie/Torbie and three different patterns: Point, Mitted, and Bicolour!! To top it off, the Lynx effect! The stripes banding like a tiger! As long as one parent passes on the lynx gene, any color or pattern can have they stripe banding. Misty has the Lynx Gene AND for sure BLUE eyes as you can see in the video. BTW...there's 6 very cute 3 weeks old kittens for sale...my granddaughter has one picked out she wants for Christmas...oh gramma. She loves my Bugsy, but we're bonded. Its a typical Ragdoll pose...where they sit on their behinds, slouched like a Buddha statue. My Bugsey Malone, cousin of Mistys, sits like that each morning as he's grooming himself.
