Lovey stuff Danny. Could have watched another hour of it Rminded me of when I lived in the Midlands fishing the Upper Trent and River Derwent. Can't beat river Roach and Dace on the stick float. Stay safe and thanks

The lower stretches always held the most fish, and the best quality as far as roach were concerned back when lived not far away. I still always preferred it further up, away from "civilization". In my day you'd never get a swim on a weekend. We only ever went midweek and still had to be there before dawn!

my fave method..stick on a pacey river...that roach was a decent lump.... id like to see you catch a 2.5lb roach or a 3lb perch... very rare.. how about a lure/dropshot stalking vid on a smallish river.... id like to see you do that sumtime..... nice one

A place which fished extensively 30 years ago Danny. You would struggle to get a peg anywhere near that section, especially on the weekend. I stopped going to that stretch when the cormorants decimated the fish population. The Shaws Arms stretch was where I learned my trade. Oh, to be young again. I never caught, or even witnessed a perch being caught.

Great fishing Danny, most of the rivers I fish are tidal here I think you get a better quality fighting fish in them as they have to contend with tides. Some stretches we can only feeder fish. Thanks for the vid, take care, Norfolk Ray

Some lovely fish there. Good to see the Perch putting in an appearance. What's the fish around 7:30 ish? The red eye suggests Roach but the anal and tail fins look a bit Bream-y.
