I wanna see the yard boys do an ad where it’s an incredibly intense standoff/fight scene up close for about a minute straight and then the camera slowly draws back revealing “Level 1 Crook”, “level 5 Goon”, and “level 100 Mob boss” over their heads in big white letters and it’s actually just an ad for that shitty mobile game 😂
14:51 Seeing Lud be so confident about his ability and talent is sick af. I like that he's self aware and will make fun of some of his sort comings but bro has been doing some sick ass shit over the past few years(especially past few months) and he's earned this confidence.
It did not feel about ability and talent at this level the way he worded it, it's about connections and resources, power. He's confident he can pull better events because he has more to make them with. Not saying it's easy, I don't know who the other person was, so he could've meant both, maybe the other person doesn't have that dawg in him either, but it definitely wasn't worded the best way nor nicely if Ludwig meant that, and maybe deservedly so because the other person wasn't nice either allegedly.
Damn Ludwig is such a good boyfriend, very respectful letting QT do her thang with the negotiations so she can get her name out there and the recognition she deserves.
Its really sad when creators bring other creators down, now I dont care for this creators name to be released as its just not worth the head ache for Lud. I just wish everyone tried to lift others up, especially when you're all part of the same bussiness/industry, being rude will just cause youreself to get outcasted, whoever said it probably wont get the opportunity to associate in Luds circle, why would anyone wanna be around someone who just brings others down, more importantly, why would you wanna be the one to bring others down.
@@grandcookie2250 no, I really dont care to know who it was because it'll just start unnecessary drama, what was said was said and us knowing who it was ain't gonna change anything, it'll just start a war between two communities. Someone was rude and that's all, but some fans can take it too far, even if both parties tell their fans not too, Luds fans would attack their community, then the other persons community attacks Lud, it'll get messy and no one wins.
Who knows? Maybe they aren't as successful, had been gassed up by people expecting to win and when they didn't got drunk like he did, sending the message? I mean, yea it's drama, and Ludwig made this video to show his public disapproval of that message, but there are thousands of worse things to be mad at than someone essentially saying they had a bad time at the event. Like he said a lot of people assumed he helped do the event, so would be the guy to complain to@@grandcookie2250
I voted for your dodgeball event. It was so fucking funny i was in stitches. The other events were cool- but the dodgeball tourney I was glued to the screen. You can shit on it all you want, but it was a sick ass event.
The dodgeball tournament deserved to win simply because of the insane Michael reeves last second save. It was the most entertaining moment I have ever watched live. I was screaming at the TV and I was telling everyone to watch it because it was more entertaining than most hockey games. It was so close and Michael being barefoot to get better traction was completely boss. I didn't even vote on the streamer awards and I watched all of the events nominated, I'm just saying, you actually deserved the win. The fact that you didn't want to win is the reason you got drunk. Everyone knew you deserved that award. That dodgeball event was top tier entertainment and I hope to goodness to get another one soon!!!
I thibk dodgeball is relatable since everybody comforable enough to watch youtube has played and enjoyed dodgeball once in their childhood, and probably rememebrs it fondly. Plus its also a very exciting sport, it basically writes itself.
I’m so here for lud being known as QT’s boyfriend and I LOVE that he was being so emotive and supportive like immediately for everybody Also “I will just do shit that they will never be able to do in their life until they die” goes so hard holy shit 😂
Isn’t it funny how people are like who cares about the awards and then get mad at who won. Probably got invited but thought it was dumb so didn’t go and just watched it at home sad and lonely and mad that they didn’t win. So many chatters talking shit on qt and the awards and will never be happy with anything. Even if she did everything right people will get mad because they’re miserable.
if youre mad about the result of a fan voted award, dont be mad at the person who won bc it wasnt the result that you wanted, be mad at your fans/the fans of the people you wanted to win for not showing up
Idk why people keep thinking that it’s rigged. Like we all know the only part that’s rigged is that QT removes herself from so many of the categories even though she deserves to win a lot of them
With leviathan there should have been a little clip because I as many others didn't know he was the fortnite kid. Most of us had no idea it was the same dude.
the fact that he may or may not had "the worst year" as a streamer, doesn't change the fact that that one single event was awesome! one does not have to do with the other, you could say "oh Wild West was better" or "this was better", but having a shitty year overall does not matter.
eh, you did kinda just say "it doesn't matter if he had a shitty year we voted for our streamer🙏" which is the exact reason why the game awards completely ignores viewer votes for all intensive purposes☠
@@kingmcclawson190 no, what they're saying is even if it wasn't ludwig's best year, the event was still the best. that dodgeball stream had so many different highlights its ridiculous, even commentary by itself was entertaining af
@@kingmcclawson190No? The award was for the best event and all that mattered was the quality of that event. Whatever else Ludwig did that year had nothing to do with the award.
that ad was lit AF. reminds me of when companies actually had funny guys on their ad teams and you could channel surf looking for funny ads instead of TV shows
Respect to Ludwig for wanting to leave the space with a bang. Like a satisfying book closing, rather than what most creators do which is slowly die out like a flame in the night. Id prefer that ending so in 10 years I can say, I remember how Ludwig went. And we all do.
Lud is such a nice and sweet boyfriend, honestly. Supports his girl no matter what, gives her the distance she needs, and just tries to be there for everything she does. Bro just loves his woman. I love it.
Idgaf what Lud says, the fact that he was in the front row drunkenly cheering on everyone who climbed on stage is so fricking wholesome. Buddy deserves the W.
Based on all the episodes of the yard I've listened to, Slime would not have the breakdown he had in the ad. My guy would be proud of the lesson (about "the importance of sharing") he taught Lud and would defend his actions later
Lud not caring if they talk shit abt him but the fact that the person said the event, that QT had worked so hard for, was “shit” was what got him. Man is devoted
He’s so based. His viewer base has nothing to do with the events numbers. He has nothing to do with the event. The fact his girlfriend did so well has nothing to do with him. He’s so modest. Being the complete mogul he his. He’s just a humble whhhhite man
That was THE best ad I’ve ever seen I didn’t even get a single inkling to want to skip it because I didn’t realise it was an ad and when I did it was good
That's sad that the "the man of the house has the final word on everything happening in it" mentality is still ingrained in the minds of some people, even in "young" events like the Streamer Awards. The fact that you or QT have to explain that her show is, in fact, HER show, sounds really exhausting. Congrats for the award :)
Ludwig's dodgeball event was pretty good. My main gripe with that category was mixing charity events(Connor's charity auction) and regular events. Even if charity streams or events didn't deserve a category like last year, at least they should have been acknowledged.
