Can't even claim it's a lack of matchup knowledge either because the Snake Eyes player in the Finals has won multiple tournaments, including one of these previous tournaments, with Mikanko itself.
the only reason going first mikanko is better on tournaments is because opponent will make you go first when they know your deck. and there's no side deck so you can't swap in more cards for going first. blind second is still very good in ranked. They just suffer in not having a good turn 1 play, and therefore much weaker in tournament formats.
To all the fellas asking why I didn't draco negate the princess in Game 2. I had 0 seconds on the clock so had to gamble on Morasaky not being able to lethal. GGs to him tho. Deserved win.
the downfall of dragon link has been crazy I remember when they first did the nurf people questioned rather or not it would be enough but dragon link is almost non-existent now days so I guess they did they job
semi limiting chaos space semi limiting launch banning chaos ruler banning wyverbuster. they really destroy the decks consistency so players who main dragon link will be force to build these new meta decks.
@@FrankToasty there are no relevant pile decks aside from chaos pile and branded, chaos pile never really did anything impacting competitively only brief appearances in tournaments that it never won and branded well doesn’t really need ruler. Ruler can comeback tomorrow and won’t do anything in the slightest, it’s pretty disappointing that MD gave spright elf, kitkalos, the d rulers, and monkey board a chance but weirdly enough not ruler…? Just an L on Konamis part.

They misplayed so bad. I get don’t think they understand Snake-Eyes matchup. So many bad and questionable plays. Like, they had Branded Lost and didn’t think to fuse with Cartesia to grab Mercourier to protect the branded fusion from Ash. They made it to the top 8 but I can’t see April or Abohmad misplaying that

Crossout is at 3 because we don't have Maxx c. Really just that simple. Most decks don't have any cards that you can reliably counter that crossout would work blindly against. I do think it's a good option for combo decks to beat hand traps or floodgates but most players don't build with niche counters in mind. Not everyone will play nibiru against you, so adding it to counter with crossout is a waste if your opponent uses dark ruler instead to beat combo. Maxx c is in 100% of competitive decks and requires negating which is why ocg and master duel see crossout used more.

Snake Eyes, since Scarecrow is most likely will get banned soon (unless Konami changed their mind somehow), and Fire King support still hasn't released yet so Snake Eyes will be relevant for a good amount of time
Bro people really like to hate on branded I can understand it can be annoying but people can just be excessive fr now I wonder when snake eyes or rescue ace become more prevalent are people gonna give it the same treatment as branded or not we just have to wait and see since snake eyes just can out and we will see the yu gi oh double standard fr man when it comes to certain decks especially combo decks and decks that beat combo decks bro man

@@akes9793 Yes, that's also true. People will also be 'Meta Bad' NPCs. Snake Eyes can also do some nasty locks like summoning Kristya/Fossil Dyna with Flamberge on turn 2, but we'll see how people will react to that.
Yeah, people are sheep that echo whatever is the flavor of the month sentiment at the moment. RAce and Snake-Eyes will get the same treatment as Branded, just as Branded got the same treatment as Kash, Tear, etc. It's always funny because people would always root for Branded before it became tier 1. Similar thing with Kash. Remember how people were crying bloody murder over Kash? Then look at the chat during the Kash vs Snake-Eye match in the previous vid. 🐑
As a former Branded player that deck has been meta for way too long, and that's why i dislike it, including when people still try to use former meta decks. It just gets boring seeing the same plays. At least with Snake Eyes, it is new so I don't mind it.
Why is no one playing the rescue ace and snake eyes? Ive not lost since i finished the deck but i also dont play it the same way as everyone else, have a few links that arnt expected

It's a game at the end. Though i think i don't like about the Mikanko infernoble it feels less like Mikanko but more like a generic negate board bs. Well but it wins the game and the creator found a way to play it good for them.
Dkayed may hype up snake eye and try to push it as the “new best deck” but Branded is still leagues better. Some of the builds and plays in this tourney were - honestly - amateurish 🤷♂️

You tell me what is the main win condition in yugioh? Battle damage right? It’s quite literally ridiculous to think that that deck is ok hell even snake eyes is pushing the line.
Loocking at the ladder and tournamwnts you realize maxxc us just pointless it balances nothing all ofthe top decks but laberynth ate combo decks is just pointless at this point it just makes the game worse
Anyone bad mouth Branded, just so you know snake-eyes has next to no response to Miranko. Branded shits on Miranko, the MAIN reason why snake-eyes beats Branded is because you can spam negates, while branded actually plays the game.
Mikanko did get better with the new cards. Angelica's Ring giving the Mikanko the option of having a spell negate, one that even negates Super Poly if it's already up, is big. Mikanko takes a lot more skill to play well than some people like to think.

The current meta is so boring we reached a point where the most fun deck (Branded) became a boring one.. I am a branded player and got sick of it. Just ban grass. make Lubelion at 1 make Quem at 1 the deck is still gonna be fine probably tier3 it won't die... Come on Konomi!! you made my favorite deck the new Tearlments.
